Happy's body floated in dark endless space filled with beautiful stars and the sky was lit up with a fine display of aurora borealis painting the sky with colours. At the center was a throne with Nix seated on it with a slight frown on her face.
"can't that bitch just leave me alone', she cursed as she could see her dark energy mixed with a golden energy from a certain someone flowing in his body.
After sometime the rampaging energy in his body subsided as his body floated slowly to the ground, immediately his leg touched the water like ground ripples could be seen under his feet.
"where me am I?", Happy asked as he slowly opened his eyes.
"You are in your mind's domain which has become my humble and little abode, but it amazes me on how your mind space is this vast", Nyx ethereal voice resounded in his ears as an obsidian throne appeared in Happy's line of sight with Nyx sitting on it with a thin dress on.
Happy stared at Nyx curves and features for a while before his face turned beet red in embarrassment when he heard Nyx voice again.
"Seems I chose the right clothes as you seem to be enjoying what you see",Nyx giggled as she saw how stupified and embarrassed Happy.
"Ahem, don't get the wrong idea miss, Mrs, or madam whatever that suits you, haven't you heard that invading someone else private space is illegal. This is not your little abode but my mind so stop acting like a parasite", but as Happy finished talking, a heavy punch landed in his face making him spiral in the air before blasting into bits. Happy body reanimated he instantly felt a racking pain all over his body as he felt the immense fear and pain of dieing.
"What was that for, you goddamn woman really killed me", Happy groaned and clenched his chest in pain.
"Shut up! Love the God part cause am one but despise the damn part, and the other part of you dieing is part of your training", Nyx smirked as she stood in front of Happy wearing a battle armour as she threw another punch at him which he quickly evaded but was unlucky as another punch sent him shattering to bits again.
"Can you please stop killing me, it's infuriating and unfair due to the fact that I can't lay a finger on you" Happy roared in annoyance as he evaded to of Nyx strikes only to be scattered to oblivion by the third hit. This happened for couple of hundred times before Nyx stopped attacking him when he reanimated again.
"I can't Go out crazily killing my man, am just doing it for you. I want to train your mind, hody and soul to be fearless if death", Nyx smiled as her fragrance burst over him.
Happy groaned in frustration, his mind and body still reeling from the repeated deaths he experienced within his own mental domain. He rubbed his temples, attempting to grasp the surreal situation he found himself in.
Nyx, adorned in ethereal battle armor, circled around him with an air of divine authority. "You must understand, Happy, that your mind's vastness is a canvas waiting to be painted with resilience and fearlessness. Embracing death within this realm is the key to unlocking your true potential."
As Nyx spoke, Happy couldn't help but feel a mixture of awe and irritation. The vivid display of aurora borealis above and the obsidian throne behind her added to the otherworldly atmosphere. "Fine, but there has to be a less lethal way to achieve this," Happy retorted, his frustration evident.
Nyx's laughter echoed through the expansive mental space. "You mortals are always resistant to the necessary methods. Fear not, for I am a goddess, and my methods are beyond your comprehension. Now, let us continue your training."
Without warning, Nyx lunged at Happy, her movements swift and unpredictable. Happy, determined to prove his newfound understanding, managed to dodge a few strikes, but Nyx's divine speed overwhelmed him, each punch sending him into fragments.
Amidst the chaos, Nyx's voice reverberated, "Your ability to evade is commendable, but true fearlessness comes from facing the inevitability of death head-on."
Happy gritted his teeth, frustration turning into determination. As Nyx prepared for another assault, Happy focused his thoughts. Instead of evading, he allowed her strike to connect. The impact sent shockwaves through his being, but he resisted the urge to shatter into fragments.
Nyx raised an eyebrow, impressed. "Ah, perhaps there's hope for you yet."
The training continued, a dance between divine force and mortal resilience. With each encounter, Happy's ability to withstand the onslaught improved. He began to understand the rhythm of Nyx's attacks, finding openings to counter.
As the aurora borealis pulsed overhead, a subtle change occurred within Happy. The fear of death transformed into a calm acceptance. Nyx noticed this shift in his demeanor and nodded approvingly. "You are learning, Happy. The key is not to resist death but to embrace it as a part of your existence."
With newfound confidence, Happy faced Nyx in a battle of wills. No longer afraid, he confronted the goddess with a determination born from the depths of his mind. The mental landscape around them began to shift, mirroring Happy's evolving mindset.
Nyx, sensing the change, ceased her attacks. "You've come a long way, mortal. Your mind, body, and soul are becoming attuned to the dance of life and death."
Happy, now standing on solid ground, looked at Nyx with a mix of gratitude and exhaustion. "Is this the end of the training?"
Nyx smiled mysteriously. "No, Happy. This is only the beginning. Your journey to fearlessness has just started, and the challenges ahead will be even more profound."
As Nyx's words echoed, the aurora borealis intensified, casting a brilliant glow over the expansive mental domain. Happy braced himself for the unknown, ready to face whatever trials awaited him on the path to unlocking his true potential.
