Part 31

As I stood in Forks Land, I was immediately struck by its otherworldly aura. It was as if I had stepped into a magical realm that transcended the boundaries of time and space. The air was thick with a powerful energy that seemed to pulsate all around me, filling me with a sense of wonder and awe.I gazed around me and got mesmerized by the cosmic landscape that stretched out before me. The stars shone brightly in the inky black sky, casting an ethereal glow over the snow-covered terrain. The snowflakes fell gently around me, swirling in the night wind like tiny crystals of magic. The wind whipped fiercely against my skin, carrying with it a sense of wildness and unpredictability. My chocolate brown hair was ruffled by the gusts, and the snowflakes clung to it like shimmering stars in the darkest night sky.I was surrounded by the ethereal beauty of magic, and I felt my heart swell with the powers pulsating around me. I felt like my own magic was getting amplified, and I felt peace. I never got this feeling when I was in vampire land. My powers never felt this pure and clear; just a few minutes before, I was feeling like raging lava was inside me, but now it felt like the fierce flames subdued me and made me feel at ease.It was as if I had entered a world where the impossible became possible and every moment was infused with pure magic. The snowflakes fell gently around me, and I could see the fine details of them. It was not possible when I was in human land, and I really started to feel grateful for the powers I possessed. The snowflakes glittered in the moonlight, casting a soft glow over the landscape that seemed almost otherworldly. The wind carried with it a sense of wildness and freedom, as if it were the very spirit of the land itself.Every sound was amplified in this mystical realm, from the crunch of the snow under my boots to the distant howl of a wolf. Even my own breaths seemed to echo in the stillness, reminding me that I was alive. As I looked out over the cosmic landscape, I felt a sense of deep connection to the universe itself. The stars twinkled like diamonds in the sky, reminding me of the vastness of the cosmos and the infinite possibilities that lay ahead. In that moment, I knew that I had truly found a place that spoke to my soul. A place where magic was real and anything was possible Forks Land had become my home, a place of wonder and beauty that would stay with me forever.I walked deeper into the snow, and a sudden, sharp pain shot through my head, causing me to stumble in agony. Memories flooded my mind, bringing back images of my parents' joyous moments with me as well as the dark and terrifying war fields where they had fought against the vampires. The pain in my head continued to throb, growing more intense with each passing second. My heart raced frantically in my chest, threatening to burst through my ribcage. My lungs struggled to fill with air as if they were being choked by an invisible force. I had never felt anything like this before, and I was scared. But then something inside me stirred. It was as if a part of my brain that had been shut down for all these years had suddenly come to life. The pain in my head began to subside, and my senses grew sharper and more vivid than ever before. I could feel the energy coursing through me, calling out to me like a siren's song.My breaths deepened as I struggled to open my eyes, but they refused to obey me. The feeling was overwhelming, like a tidal wave of emotion and sensation crashing over me all at once. It was as if I was experiencing life in a completely new and profound way.At that moment, I realized that the memories and powers that were locked inside me had been released. I was no longer the same person I had been before, and I knew that the powers I possess are not only mine. The powers of the witches who died in the war against vampires were passed down to me, and I knew somewhere deep in my heart that my life was going to change."Who is she, grandma?" The little girl's voice was like the sweet sound of an angel, innocent and curious all at once."She's a very special person, sweetie..." Another voice, equally angelic but with a hint of age responded gently. My eyes remained closed, but I could see the little girl's eyes lighting up with happiness as she looked at me. It was strange that I could see and hear everything clearly when my eyes are closed."What is her name?" The little girl's question broke my thoughts, bringing me back to the present moment."Kristen." The angelic voice responded, the sound of the name echoing in the air like a soft melody.I couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging wash over me."May I heal her grandma?" The girl asked cheerfully."Yes, sweety, you can". Answered the voice. Her small footsteps made a sound like a kitten when she walked toward me. Is it another vision or a dream I thought to myself? she took a seat beside me and placed her small hands on either side of my forehead. I felt a warmth pass through my body from her touch."Wake up". She whispered in my ear. With a groan, my eyes snapped open, and I struggled to adjust to the bright, blinding daylight that flooded the room. As I looked around, trying to get my bearings, I saw a beautiful, childlike goddess sitting cheerfully at the foot of my bed, her soft, radiant blue eyes sparkling with joy.A smile crept onto my lips as I took in her sweet, innocent expression. Without warning, she jumped onto the bed and threw her arms around me in a tight embrace, and I couldn't help but smile even wider. Her energy was infectious, and I felt a sense of warmth and comfort envelop me as she hugged me. It was as if all my worries and fears had melted away in an instant, leaving behind only a feeling of happiness."Who are you, little girl?" I asked with a smile."I am Mia," she replied with a happy grin, her bright blue eyes sparkling with excitement.I heard the soft rustle of fabric and felt a sudden rush of energy towards the window. When I looked back, I gasped in amazement at the sight before me. "You are awake." The angelic voice spoke again, and I saw a woman standing by the window. When she turned her head and looked my way, my breath caught in my throat. A beautiful woman with ocean-blue eyes that sparkled like diamonds and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms stood tall and graceful, wearing a beige dress that hugged her curves in all the right places and accentuated her stunning figure. But it was her aura that truly took my breath away. It was like nothing I had ever felt before—deep, powerful, and pure, like the energy of a goddess. And then there was the crown, a magnificent golden circle adorned with different types of gems that sparkled in the light. It sat atop her snow-white hair, which flowed down her hips in gentle waves.I stood up from my bed. I felt a sudden urge to bow before the woman who stood before me, my instincts telling me that this was someone I should respect."Mia, darling, I would like to chat with Kristen for a while." Why don't you go ahead and have your dinner? "You can play with her tomorrow," she said, turning to the little girl with a kind smile."Okay, grandmother," Mia said, waving at me with a bright grin. "Bye, Kristen!"Bye, Mia!" I replied, returning her smile. But as the little girl left the room, my attention was once again drawn to the woman before me. "Grandmother?" I whispered, confused by the unexpected title. She seemed to sense my confusion, and with a gentle smile, she beckoned me closer. "Come here, let me take a good look at you," she said softly, her eyes glistening with tears.I approached her tentatively, unsure of what to expect. But as she looked at me, her gaze seemed to penetrate deep into my soul, searching for something that I couldn't quite understand.I felt a sudden connection with her, as if she could see right through me and understand all of my fears and doubts. It was a strange and powerful feeling, one that left me both awed and a little afraid. But as she took my hand and squeezed it gently, I felt a sense of warmth and reassurance wash over me.I took slow, cautious steps toward her; she engulfed me in a tight hug, trying to hold back the tears. But as soon as she wrapped me in her embrace, holding me tightly, I felt a sense of comfort and warmth wash over me. It was as if I had known her for years, and the familiarity was overwhelming. We stood there in silence, holding onto each other for what felt like an eternity, until she finally let go. As she looked at me with tears in her eyes, I could feel the weight of her emotions and the connection we shared."You look just like your mother, so beautiful," she said softly, her voice thick with emotion and her eyes glistening with unshed tears. I couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation at the mention of my mother. It had been so long since I had heard anything about her.I felt a mix of emotions: happiness to meet this woman who seemed to have a special connection with my mother and sadness at the memories of my mother that came flooding back. A few tears escaped my own eyes as I tried to compose myself. It was a lot to take in, but I knew I was in good hands."Who are you?" I asked with bewilderment."This is Forks Land, and I am Queen Irina." She said.I gasped in surprise and took a few steps back. This is where I was supposed to go after I escaped from the vampires. This is real. The queen smiled at me warmly. "I am home." My thoughts left my mouth, which made her smile more."You are home," she said."I can't believe this," I said, looking around the place."Do you know my parents?" I asked carefully."Yes."Queen Irina's face softened as she looked at me with empathy. "Your parents were dear friends of mine." Eva, your mother was warm-hearted and cheerful, just like you. They were brave warriors who fought against the vampires to protect our land. "They sacrificed their lives to keep Forks Land safe."I felt a lump form in my throat, and tears streamed down my face. The realization that my parents were gone hit me hard, but hearing that they were loved and respected by the queen gave me a sense of comfort. I was grateful for this place and the people who knew my parents.Eva and Louis were dear to me. "They grew up together, along with my daughter Amanda." She said, and I frowned in confusion."Amanda?" "As in Vampire Queen Amanda?" I asked."Yes.'' "She was the princess of Forks Land, but once she got married to Edmond, he turned her into a vampire." Her tone was filled with sadness."Your father, Louis, was her cousin." He was one of the finest warriors. He was like my own son, and Eva was a wonderful person with so much light within her and a great witch."What happened to them?" I asked, tears brimming my eyes."Your parents protected you with their lives when war broke out between vampires and us." "They sent you to the human world to protect you." She kept her answers short. My heart raced as I listened to her words. I couldn't believe that my parents had sacrificed so much for me. Tears streamed down my face as I thought about what they must have gone through. Queen Irina's expression was solemn, and her eyes were filled with empathy and understanding."It was a difficult time for all of us," she said, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. "But your parents' sacrifice ensured your safety, and for that, we will forever be grateful."I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude and pride for my parents. They truly were selfless and brave. Queen Irina continued to speak, telling me more about my parents and their legacy in Forks Land. Despite the sadness and pain of their loss, I felt a sense of belonging and connection to this place, knowing that it was my true home."Why didn't anyone come looking for me?" I asked, feeling a mixture of confusion, anger, and sadness. Queen Irina's eyes filled with empathy as she looked at me. "We didn't know about your existence until Linda approached me recently." I came to know that Linda was protecting you in human land and keeping you away from the vampires. "Your parents wanted to give you a normal life; that's why they sealed off your powers and made you grow up among humans.""Why did the vampires abduct me?" "Why didn't you save me before that?" I asked honestly. She sighed."We believe they wanted your powers, Kristen." "Your mother was one of the most powerful witches in Forks Land, and at the time of war, it's possible that you inherited her powers and also the powers of the witches who were killed." She paused for a moment, her expression growing grave. "There is nothing to worry about anymore." You are safe now. She said, smiling.Stanley was imprisoned by Edmond. His powers were limited, and he was in bad shape in prison, which is why he could speak to you only in your head. We had planned to save you without their knowledge, but fate has its own ways. "I am sorry I couldn't come for you sooner." She apologized to me genuinely."What about King Edmund and William?" They were planning for war, and they said they spotted the location. They wanted me to fight for them. I think any moment now they will be here. "We must do something." I panicked as fear gripped me, but the queen chuckled. "Don't worry about them." Our land is magically enchanted, and they can't enter here. "Whatever location they claim to have found is an illusion," she declared proudly."But they have witches too!" "They are also powerful," I said, a bit unsure. She chuckled softly, the sound soothing my frazzled nerves. "My dear, they are witches, yes, but they are not strong enough." They do not even possess one-third of our powers. Those who are with the king betrayed our clan when the war broke out centuries ago and got banished from Forks Land. When a witch is banished from their birthplace, most of their powers will be stripped from them. Yes, they have some powers, but nothing in comparison to us. "Trust me, my dear." Her words calmed me down, and I let out a relieved sigh. I was glad to know that I was safe from the vampires."Now, aren't you curious about the man who saved you?" "I am sure Stanley is waiting impatiently to meet you." The queen said it with a twinkle in her eye, and she laughed softly when she saw me blushing. At the mention of his name, my heart skipped a beat and my cheeks flushed. I couldn't help but look down at my feet, feeling a rush of emotions that I couldn't quite describe."I can't wait to meet him in person," I said.
