Unknowing that the women have switched places, Roman kidnaps the wrong couture diva. With Claudia missing, Poppy must keep up the ruse, and convince Roman to keep her alive or fall into the hands of the murderous Gambino family.

Couture Criminals

Taking her hand Roman gave Poppy a reassuring smile as they stepped up to the Ricci mansion. He could feel her tremble and he wasn't sure if she would be able to pull off pretending to be Claudia. For their sake, he hoped she could hold on just a few minutes longer.

"Darling, will you be all right?"

"Roman, what if they don't like me?"

"Poppy, I don't know one person that doesn't like you. Just relax and be yourself. I'll take care of the rest."

Giving him the side eye, she huffed, "Yeah, myself. I don't really know who that is anymore."

"Well, very shortly you will find that out. My father, Luke, and I will take care of this."

As they reached the top step his father stepped forward, ringing the doorbell. "Here goes nothing."
