Couture Criminals

Remi sat in the Luciano Italian restaurant a few days later with the Ricci's, Poppy, Roman, and her parents. She had called her other brothers and sisters several times throughout the day, trying to get advice on what to do and say. She hated the idea of having to argue with Roman. Of all her family, they were the closest and even a fake fight wasn't something she ever wanted.

Biting her nails, Remi's mother kept smacking her hand down. "Stop. That's a dirty habit."

"I'm sorry, Momma. I just stressed out."

"Why did he have to come here." Looking around Remi whispered. "Everyone is watching us. Those Serpent guys are all over this place. I can feel it."
