Cal knew it was over now, there was no way to escape his fate, with a common system, one could barely get stronger.. So how? How did he reach a level similar, if not above the best,, a power level that comes with systems with the purpose of allowing prodigies to grow even stronger than they already are. How.. just how?

“Oh. Hello! Cal, right?”

Cal's eyes widened, staring at the one in front of him, maybe he could change his horrid fate.

“Don’t look like that, Anyways, I’m Echo. And, I would say I’d help you, but really, you gotta help yourself.”

[ new task assigned ] 

[ misson : take revenge on the one who chose this horrid fate for you. ]

Cal, a being born with a horrid fate, gets the chance to change it, to become stronger, to stop at nothing to achieve his goals, but will he do it? Will he rise above them all or will he fail, doomed to spend his life under someone else’s control. 

“I’ll grow stronger, even if it takes my humanity.” Cal said, determined.

“Better keep that promise, you might have to.” Echo said, her words drumming into Cal's ears, he nodded. Walking away.  He knew exactly what to do now, and he was just getting started. 

“There is so much more to know, so much more to get, to see. So many secrets you have yet to reveal…”

“You're right about that, Cal! I’ll tell you eventually, just not know. Focus on the task at hand.”

The Moonlit void

Cal headed down stairs after getting dressed, 


Seeing his mother cooking in the kitchen he sighed, and his mother turned around


"Cal, your going to be fucking late! You mistake!! Get the hell out of my house. If you even think about failing I'll throw you out faster then you can say sorry!" Cals mother, Vanessa, never wanted cal but was forced to take care of him, due to this she never showed him anything and the only reason he has a decent room is because she was again forced to, cal opened his mouth to speak, but his mother started talking "what are you waiting for? GET OUT" cal looked down and started walking out the door, "yes ma'am.." 


he said as he opened the front door, walked through and closed it behind him with a loud bang.


Cal got to school and started walking to his class room, room 208 A, a few students stopped him in the middle of the hall way, Greg. 


"What do you want Greg?" Cal said, clearly unsurprised 


"Wellll just wanted to say hi. And good luck on your test you'll need it…" Greg said in a stretched out tone before chuckling and waking away 


"What a idiot.." cal thought before walking to his classroom.


The door opened and creeked as it closed behind cal, who walking into his classroom and took a seat in the back, then put his head down and waiting.. he was well over early today..
