Chapter 62

"Didn't I tell you about tonight's art exhibition and not going back to dinner?"

"I know. where you are now."

I said impatiently: "Of course, in the exhibition!"

"Look at the door."

Irene Nadine's pov

I looked up inexplicably, stood on tiptoe, and looked at the door. Immediately, I saw Ryan Campbell, who was half a head taller in the crowd. He was followed by Jeffrey Scott. He didn't talk to the people around me, and focused on calling me, looking around as if looking for me.

Instead, I hid in the dark: "Why are you here?"

"Why can't I come? Where are you hiding? Don't come out to serve your husband?"

I was just looking at Ryan Campbell and talking to the other end of the phone and asking, "How did you find it?"

Watching him stride towards the hall surrounded by the crowd, his voice came from the phone through all the noise: "I told you, I know everything about you."

I didn't bother to care whether he followed me or not but stressed: "Remember, you can't say you know me!"
