Chapter 108

Ceres Taylor's POV

I got into the car silently and fastened my seat belt. Without asking where he was going, I turned my head and looked out of the window silently.

Now she had completely changed. The girl who always argued back had become so lonely and silent.

When the car arrived at the restaurant, I asked her what she wanted to eat, but she just said it in a restrained manner. She had always been very careful, but she could not hide her absent mindedness.

Jeffrey Scott didn't mention anything about Ben Scott. After dinner, he took her to a shopping mall. When they arrived at the phone counter, he said to her, "choose one you like."”

I took a look at it and then realized that he was going to buy me a phone. I immediately shook my head and said, "I don't need it..."

I really don't have any money or luxury now. Besides, it's useless for me to take my phone. No one will call me, and I don't have anyone to contact.
