Chapter 132

Ryan Campbell's POV

Maybe I haven't adapted to it yet. It should be the nature of every child. With a child, I can't ask for life to be as orderly as when I am alone.

"Theresa, come here to take a shower and go to bed."

Hearing this, Theresa didn't play too much. She just put down the latest doll, walked to me and asked, "where's mom? Why hasn't she come yet?"

I lied, "I have something to deal with today. Can your father accompany you tonight?"

Theresa raised her head and looked at me with dissatisfaction. I didn't say anything more and went to the bathroom with the baby in my arms.

"Can you take a shower yourself?"

"Of course. Go get my clothes. Don't peep at me."

I rolled my eyes at her, poured the water, walked out and handed the newly bought pajamas to the child.

So I came to the living room and packed up the toys on the ground.

It's only been one night. I feel very tired. I finally realized how hard it was for her to bring up Theresa alone.
