Lance and the Sculpture

Chiaki rushed to the training ground in the west part of the Crystal Garden. The blown glass sculpture that stood elegantly there was gone. The blue flame perching on the concrete post was no more. It was one of Chiaki's favourite blown glass that was scattered in the garden.

Well . . .

The giant blue flame glass sculpture had split into . . .smithereens.

"What happened?" she eyed the two men who had wooden swords in hand. Her hands on her hips, she exerted control on her voice, so it didn't become too inquisitive and judging.

A mask of reserve seemed to cover her face, but she was ready to blast anyone guilty.

Gin lowered his gaze, fixated on the ground; a flush stung his cheeks.

"Gin . . ."

Only during this situation did Gin consider Chiaki a scary mother figure. Although, she didn't know what she was doing, honestly.
