Who Are You People?

"Could you eat?" Azure Ao sat on Chiaki's bedside, bringing a bowl of piping hot porridge. Gin and he exchanged glances, communicating in silence who between them should feed Chiaki.

Gin helped Chiaki sit up so she wouldn't choke when they brought the spoon towards her.

Their position was awkward, but at least Chiaki didn't feel the restraint that she would if the person next to her was Lance Hua. In front of Gin and Azure, Chiaki didn't need to think about how she would behave as they had known her forever. In Azure's case, too, the guy had been with her with or without clothes, and he didn't judge her.

But the case with Lance Hua was . . . her feelings were suddenly important. What Lance would say would be important. How he found Chiaki's face, body, outfit, or attitude would be critical.
