Planning a Date

Chiaki rushed home as soon as every misunderstanding was cleared up between them. Although it was a short and sweet meeting, and Chiaki and Ignos didn't even stay for at least lunch with them, the hole in her heart was closed. Her question and doubt was answered.

She rushed home with Ignos by train, taking no break as she had her lunch on board. Sharing the plant-based cheese and fermented cabbage sandwich with Ignos, she chewed silently, but grew more talkative afterwards, as if the burden in her heart had been lifted.

Ignos Fire observed her happily.

"The plant-based cheese is good," he grinned. "Thanks for introducing me to it."

"No, no," Chiaki waved her hand, "Kayla made it. We can thank her later."

Upon hearing Kayla's name, Ignos' face blushed. Chiaki noticed this from the corners of her eyes.

Oh, boy, how complicated the feeling network between all the people here.
