Chapter 15

"This is serious" one of the servants that had shown up on Lily's behalf after they heard her scream, said and hurried up to inform Harold and his dad, Bamak about what had happened. As expected, Harold came rushing down the stairs, with his older dad, who had a walking stick to support his weight, following behind him at a much slower pace.

By now, some of the servants had already taken Lily inside the house, and kept her on a couch to rest her beat up body. A young and fragile girl like Lily, all that beating that Jermaine had given her definitely made her weak and pale. Harold's eyes turned to midnight when he saw this sort of thing had been done to his wife-to-be. His dad, Bamak was not left out of the rage that was hovering around the space they all occupied, looking at Lily while she lay on the couch in extreme pain.
