Chapter 15

Eloy thinks that Klem still has some good points, such as he used to listen to her, not to pry into her privacy and not to ask her about her past. Most importantly, he had promised her that he would always stand by her side and would never betray her because of his family.

I don't know if this is considered him keeping his promise, because he really didn't betray him because of his family, especially after his mother, Mrs. Bird, interfered with their romance many times, he stood by her side, although he didn't have the strength and courage to call the family's bluff yet, but she was already grateful that he could do so.

However, he still betrayed her. He had slept with Miranda when he knew exactly who the other person was. The bitch couple were both people who had left traces in her life, and she had felt very sick before, but after so many days, her discomfort was gradually subsiding.
