Klem's eyes were red and his hair was in disarray, and he stared at her with a fierceness as well as sadness and remorse in his eyes.

"I've cleared all ties with her? Will you trust me one more time? Okay?"

Eloy had been worried about him, wondering when he would get her into trouble, but now that she was in a less crowded place like the parking lot, she instead calmed down. She looked at him coldly and could only sigh at what he was doing this for.

"What I said to you, can you recall? How many more times do I need to repeat it before I can?"

A look of pain passed over his handsome face: "Are you really this cruel? Is there nothing in our past worthy of your nostalgia?"

"No," she replied decisively, "I never dwell on the past, those past things have long since passed and have nothing to do with my present."

"Your present?" He laughed sadly: "I forgot to congratulate you on your happy admission, or are those rumors true?"

"What rumors?"
