Chapter 20

The conversation I had with Wyatt was still in my head as I was putting on my makeup, and he actually misinterpreted my meaning after repeatedly hinting at it. In fact, I was merely comparing Shirley to me, implying that there was no need for him to necessarily follow Moon Goddess' advice if he wanted a satisfactory Luna. But I didn't expect him to think that I liked the smell of her perfume and wanted him to get me a bottle...

I don't think I need to put on blush anymore, my cheeks are already a rosy shade in the mirror, and I'm faintly burning. Wyatt always looks confident, but there are still times when he's silly like this, and the contrast makes me laugh.

"What are you laughing at?"

I snapped back to my senses and saw him standing not far behind me.

"Scared me, don't you walk with a sound?"

He raised his eyebrows, "Are you really that timid?"

I gave a cold snort as an answer to him.
