Chapter 55

Michael, however rigid to Richard, and cooperative with his mother, Susan that he was, wanted to stay around his father by all means. It was every child's dream to have access to their dad and mom.

Since the kids became old enough to understand that they ought to have a father as well as their mother, they have always dreamed of the day they will see their dad. Now Susan was going to cut short their joy.

''No mummy. I want to stay here. I don't want to go back, I will stay here. Let us go back to daddy's house. It is so big and beautiful, and there are lots of toys in it, and also lots of food to eat. I will stay with daddy, mummy please,'' Judy wailed naively.

Susan almost turned to mush. She knew that she was not being fair to her kids. They had every right to a real and complete family, and Susan felt guilty for wanting to take that away from them.
