Chapter 50 Reykjavik, 64° 8′ 0″ N, 21° 56′ 0″ W Keflavik Airport

How is it possible for a global terrorist organization to establish their base in Zurich?

The question popped into Cecilia, Akiko and Andalas' heads at the same time. It was a legitimate question. Switzerland was a neutral country. Therefore, the United Nations had its headquarter there, along with some of its agencies, such as WHO and ILO.

Who would have thought that OWC also chose to establish its headquarters in a Swiss city? Unbelievable!

Cecilia dropped the assailant in an alley after signaling Andalas to let go of his handcuffs and drive away. Not long after, they were entering the Keflavik airport parking lot.

At the Fiskur Gallery before the attack, Cecilia had time to contact Doctor Aslan and asked for a safe place in Iceland for them to execute the Hantaa 05 and Fabumi operations.

Doctor Aslan mentioned an expedition office located in Keflavik Airport. He also urged them to stay in that office instead of hotels. Because the OWC and the Organization had been tracking them everywhere. At least to enter the airport area, they needed to go through security checks that made them unable to carry weapons.

They were in a 30 x 30 meter room which was mostly filled with piles of cardboard packages and pallets of goods. Andalas went to the parking lot to move the rental car as far away from the airport area as possible, so it wouldn't give away their location.

The expedition office had two more rooms in the front area. Cecilia followed what Doctor Aslan told her before. She introduced herself as a WHO staff who would run a temporarily operation from the warehouse area. It was a covert operation, so they must not divulge the whereabouts of the three people.

There were no further questions from the expedition agent. They had been told the same thing by their superior.

When Andalas returned 2 hours later, Cecilia opened her X-One. Cathy had done remote installation of special apps that could locate Hantaa 05.

There was a small red dot flashing on the screen. Cecilia zoomed in on the screen. Wow! They returned to the Arctic. That meant they wouldn't need to go too far for search and landing.

Andalas opened his device.

Can you find out the whereabouts of a person who was detained by the GRU some time ago after the raid on the DGSE headquarters in Brazzaville?

This is going to be a little tricky. I'll find out. I'll let you know tomorrow morning.

Okay. I also need information on OWC's biggest allies at the moment.

Got it. Will update you tomorrow.

Akiko noticed the two people in front of her were busy with their own devices. Her mind drifted back to the recent events. How she had become the person her father wanted her to be. A person filled with adrenaline of violence and adventure, and she really liked it. Akiko smiled wryly.

"We'll try to find Hantaa 05 tomorrow morning. Doctor Aslan is preparing an amphibious plane today. I think you still have time to help us to find Hantaa 05, Andalas. Before you go look for Fabumi's whereabouts."

Cecilia's voice broke the silence. Andalas turned and nodded. For some reason, Akiko was happy to hear this news. At least Andalan would still be with her for two more days.

Akiko squealed as Cecilia quietly pinched her arm while she was daydreaming. Her face turned red when she saw Cecilia looking at her knowingly as she was smiling to herself. She glanced at Andalas. The man's face was still as cold as usual. Akiko was relieved. At least Andalas wasn't aware.

"Doctor Aslan said the plane will be available on a jetty located in a vacation home on the coast of the Arctic Circle. In the northern part of the island. Andalas you are asked to pilot it." Cecilia looked at Andalas.

It would indeed be safer if they didn't involve anyone else for the search.

Andalas looked back at Cecilia and nodded. Akiko gaped in surprise. The guy seemed to be able to drive anything. Could he also pilot a space shuttle?

Cecilia was also amazed. Doctor Aslan's adopted son was an extraordinary guy.

Bing. An incoming message from Cathy.

There's good news and bad news Cecil!

Cecilia put on a surprised face.

What is it?

The good news is that a team of scientists has begun to find a way to extract the exposure to cosmic and gamma radiation from Object X. One more thing, the baby leopard is still alive. Professor Sato guessed his immunity was starting to build up and able to be mapped.

Cecilia's face lit up.

The bad news?

We were attacked by unknown force! Half of the security agents were killed. Doctor Aslan is sending 20 additional agents to protect us here.

You know anything about the attackers?

I'm not sure. But they consist of several ethnicities. I think I heard one of the agents mention North Africa, Central Asia, and Caucasian.

Cecilia showed the chat to Andalas and Akiko.

Andalas took a deep breath.

"The Organization. The Somali, Chechens and Irish people mentioned by the agent. The Executor is starting to act fast."
