Dungeon|Broodmother|Fake

Heleh stared at the ceiling lying in his bed. It has been 2 days since they formed a party with Kamesh and Lucia. He then remembered to pickup his Odachi from the blacksmith. Heleh puts on a hoodie and his shoes, he then heads out to the City. This time his hair was tied back with some hair over his forehead and on the back of his head. While walking down the street, it seemed that every girl was staring at him. When he got to the blacksmith, Kamesh was talking to Lucia. The Lady at the front had his Odachi ready but was also staring at him.

"Hey what's up guys."

"Oh Heleh, you seem like a well versed hunter."

"Well yeah. What is it?"

"Which one is better? Two short swords that do not do as much damage but can be used really fast which makes up for the size. Or a long sword that does way more damage, but is slower."

"I don't know, test each one out and pick which one you like best."

"Ok thanks."

"No problem, anyways. Do you have my Odachi- Ma'am are you ok?"

"Oh what sorry, I mean, yes I do have your Odachi, here."

"Thank you, how much is it."

"Oh no, the excess material was enough to cover the cost."

"Oh well I guess I'll be leaving then, thank you!"

"My pleasure, please come back when you can. So kid, can I get his name?

"No."

Kamesh then ran after Heleh. Kamesh quickly catches up to him and also notices the girls staring at him.

"Are you ready for the dungeon excursion?"

"Yeah, thanks for letting me beat you guys up for training!"

"Yeah yeah whatever. Wait, I'm the party's leader! I can make you obey my every command!"

"Try and you die."

Kamesh then immediately says "Yes sir!"

Kamesh and Heleh walked back to the inn Heleh and Suzuni were staying in. When they got to their room, they heard some weird noises. They were coming from Lucia and Suzuni. It was a bit muffled but what they made out was, "C'mon!" and "Ugh ugh, HNGGGGG!" When they open the door they see Lucia doing push ups and Suzuni sitting on her back while "encouraging" her.

"Are you girls ready?"

"Yeah!"

"Ok then get your armor on."

Then everyone looked at Heleh.

"Why aren't you putting on your armor?"

"I don't wanna."

"DO YOU WANNA DIE OR SOMETHING!?"

"After looking at you, yes."

"Why you!"

Suzuni slaps Heleh in the face but Heleh just takes the slap. Heleh then took his hand out of his pocket and raised it.

"I'm sorry little one, but gender equality calls for it."

Heleh slaps Suzuni so hard that she gets knocked out. Prolonging their expedition even more. But as soon as Suzuni woke up they went to an A rank dungeon. The dungeon was just south of Azure, and had just opened up.

Dungeons are portals to lairs where there are monsters you hunt and get paid for completing one. They usually form around less populated areas. They also have tablets at the entrance that give information about the dungeon.

"guys, this dungeon has a broodmother. There are roughly 10 waves of minions until we can fight the boss. Is everyone ready?"

*All except Heleh*"Yes sir!"

The 10 waves were a breeze for the party, but then came the broodmother. But this was no ordinary broodmother, this one was a demon-broodmother. These rare species have functional minds and have the ability to speak.

"I see you have eliminated all of my children."

"Ugh, that thing is hot but ugly at the same time."

"What was that brat!?"

"I said, you ugly as shit! No cap!"

"Hahaha, you are one funny human. Too bad this is where your lineage ends."

The broodmother then swiftly stabbed Heleh right through the stomach, this was the first real pain he had felt. But why was this one so different? Then it clicked, this was not a regular Demon-like. But a graded one. Graded Demon-like monsters are way more dangerous, their rating multiplies their power on top of their already high power.

"Run! This one is grade-"

The broodmother then kissed him, but not with love. Heleh screamed out in pain, she had already laid her eggs within him. It was only a matter of time before they hatched and ate him from the inside out.

"You talk too much brat."

"Heleh!"

"I said run!"

The broodmother then slammed his head into the side of the dungeon. He started to bleed from his head, his nose, and from his mouth.

"You, you don't look half bad. Too bad I can't make you my own."

"C'mon, Heleh can handle himself. We'll just slow him down."

"Ok."

The rest of the party then exited the dungeon but still waited outside the entrance.

"Hey, we're alone now."

"Shut up you horny bitch!"

"Oh ho? Looks like you still have some fight left in you."

"But you know one thing I don't have in me?"

"And what would that be?"

"Your shitty children."

Heleh then bursts into a ball of blue flames, while protecting his body and clothes, he only went and burned the eggs. The broodmother then took her arm out of Heleh to not burn herself. Heleh then dropped down to his knees.

"Was that all the mana left in you? I can't sense you at all!" Too bad."

"Yeah, too bad there won't be anything to harvest from this dungeon."

"You talk such big game for someone who is on the floor, whose mana I even sense!'

"You can't sense it because there's too much mana."

"Wait what?"

Heleh then unsheathed his Odachi and then ran around her. He then activated a lightning spell to put on his sword, on top of the poison effect that demon weapons have. Heleh is now jumping off of the walls, and there is lightning everywhere.

"You poor thing, you think you can fight me."

The broodmother then stabbed Heleh through his wrist while jumping.

"What how!?"

"You think you're so fast don't you. Well, I am way faster than anything in this country."

Heleh then started laughing, and he continued to laugh. The broodmother was confused by this.

"Why are you laughing, you know I could kill you right now."

"Oh woo! Ha, no you couldn't."

Heleh then used his right arm to grab the broodmother's neck whilst being pinned to the wall. He pulls her in and headbutts her. She then stumbles back and releases Heleh.

"You little brat!"

"How can you talk with your head cut off?"

"What do you mean-"

While holding her head, he turns to the dismembered body of the broodmother.

"But how, when did you do that?"

"What you saw was an illusion put on by the poison of my blade."

"So I was fighting nothing?"

"Yep, you headbutted your own head on the walls."

"Ugh fine, just kill me already."

"With pleasure!"

Heleh drops her head and crushes it. At the entrance, the rest of the party sees a rough looking Heleh walk out with no stab wounds or anything.

"What, I thought that thing stabbed you?"

"It was the poison effect on this Odachi. When that broodmother showed up, I slit everyone's right pinky finger to Induce the poison."

"So what we saw was all fake?"

"Yep!"

"Damn, so that's how strong you've gotten."

"Trust me, there are many things I'm not good at, like cooking, controlling emotions, and it's sad to admit, but romance is one of them."

"What? How, all the girls were looking at you in the city. Hell we have two girls in our party."

"Ew no, they're ugly."

"Ok bro, sure."

"Well anyways, we should get back to the guild and report what we saw."

"Ok."

The party then returned to Azure and reported what they experienced. After that, they all went back to their living quarters. Heleh and Suzuni slept in the same room but in separate beds. While Kamesh and Lucia live with their family.

"God damn my back hurts"

"I can pop it for you."

"Oh yes, please do!"

Suzuni lays on her stomach, Heleh makes an A like shape with his hands. And pushes them in and forward. You could hear 10 loud pops, Suzuni let out a satisfied moan.

"What the hell did I just hear?"

"Oh Kamesh, what's up dude."

"No no no, why did she moan?"

"He popped my back."

"Ok good."

"What, you think I'd wanna do something THAT ugly. No way bro."

"I'm right here!"

"Anyways, why did you come here?"

"I have something I need to talk to you about, in private."

"Ok."

The two step out of the room, but Suzuni puts her ear up to the door.

"Have you done what I told you to? Have you protected the things you love, and the people you love?"

"Well, I love y'all. But not in a romantic way, I see you guys as family. And if anything happened to you guys, I would most definitely cry."

"Ok good, you understand. Well that's all I wanted to know, See you tomorrow!"

"Yeah! Suzuni I will kick this door down, step away."

Suzuni opens the door swiftly and stands up.

"What do you mean you love us?"

"I see you guys like family, I want to protect the party at all times."

"Ok, that's reassuring that you don't hate us."

"Oh, be happy that I haven't had a bad day yet. If I were, I wouldn't be able to control the amount of mana pouring out."

"Damn!"

"It's getting dark, get some rest."

"What about you?"

"What the fuck do you think? I will sleep too dumbass."

"Ok jeez."
