Banquet|Ceremony|Interruption|Playing

The trip took longer than expected, so they had to sleep in the carriages. When they got to the Royal Palace, they were greeted by a butler who looked no younger than 19. When they walked in, there were columns plastered with gold plated patterns. There was a massive chandelier hanging, and there was a ledge that if you went up, you could see the entire capital. There was also a lower ledge that was indoors, where people went to get away from the other people.

There was a fountain of chocolate in the center, a bunch of round tables with all sorts of cuisines. And butlers and maids walking around refilling people's glasses. Heleh and the others felt like they didn't deserve this, but the queen insisted.

Everyone began splitting up to do their own things. Heleh and Kamesh went up to the lower ledge to watch everyone. After a few minutes, the queen clinked her glass and everyone got quiet.

Queen "Attention everyone! The King of the Human Kingdom and I, have planned out an award ceremony!"

Everyone cheered.

King "Yes, the people who contributed the most will be rewarded with a generous sum of gold!"

Everyone cheers.

Heleh "Did he say gold?"

Kamesh "Yep he did."

Heleh was surprised that they were just going to give out gold like it was nothing.

Queen "First, we would like all of you to e

acknowledge our special guests. May the people of the Gurdelm Adventurer's Guild come and stand in front of me!"

Heleh and the others stand up and go to the queen. Everyone clapped as they walked to the queen. They kneel down and bow their heads. Heleh was nervous because he was the one who almost killed her.

Queen "Oh no no, please stand up and turn around."

They then do as they were told. The queen then put a medal around their necks, and turned them back around. She then hands all of them a pouch of 50 gold coins. They bow and walk back to their seats.

Before the ceremony could continue, a man yelled out "Disgusting humans." The queen looked up in worry and asked him to go down and explain.

Man "I'm just saying, why are they being rewarded?"

Queen "Because they chose an option that would be in favor of everyone."

Man "Yeah but they still killed many of our men."

Queen "They also have helped us rebuild after the war, and they have promised to not be aggressive." The queen was getting visibly more agitated.

Everyone just watched as he got in the queen's face and said "Our Kingdom has become weak, you don't deserve to rule us."

Heleh puts down his drink and goes down to the man. The guy was well built but not that big. He also only wore a regular suit.

Man "And what do you want!?"

Heleh "I think you should talk to your queen with a bit more respect."

Man "Why don't you make me."

Heleh "Fine."

The man runs up to him and hits Heleh in the face, Heleh doesn't move an inch. Heleh grabs the man's wrist and starts gripping it tighter and tighter. The man is now on the floor writhing in pain. Everyone looks in horror and amazement.

Heleh "You don't have the authority to talk to the queen like that. If the guards were here you would have been on the end of a stick already, but I'll let you go."

Heleh lets go of the man's wrist and starts walking away. The man summons a brute sword and swings it at Heleh.

Man "Ahh!"

Heleh dodges and the sword is now stuck in the ground. Heleh appears behind him and sweeps his legs. The man tries hand to hand combat but nothing is affecting Heleh. Heleh is then annoyed by him and punches him in the gut. The man is then sent flying into a wall, the wall cracks and the man is picked up and taken to the hospital. Everyone stared at Heleh as he walked back.

The ceremony continued as planned and after that everyone started leaving. Heleh still sat on the lower ledge drinking a glass of wine. The queen then sat next to him.

Queen "I haven't forgiven you."

After she said that, Heleh teleported back to the place they were staying. The queen got mad and slammed her hand on the table making the glass shatter.

Queen "Damn him!"

Back at the house they were staying in, everyone was already asleep. But Suzuni was not able to sleep as easily as the others. Then Heleh appeared next to her.

Heleh "What's wrong?"

Suzuni "We don't deserve this."

Heleh "Yeah I know."

Suzuni "It just feels wrong, you know?"

Heleh "Pfft nah bro. If this is how I'm getting treated after beating their ass, then I ain't complaining."

Suzuni picks up a pillow from the couch and throws it at Heleh.

Suzuni "Asshole!"

Heleh "Bitch you're the one who threw a pillow at me!"

Suzuni "It's a fucking pillow!"

Heleh "I don't care, you still threw it at me."

Suzuni let out a little "grrrr" and started hitting Heleh's chest. Heleh looked down while holding in his laughter.

Heleh "You're like a child who didn't get candy."

Suzuni "I do not act like a child!"

Heleh "But you do."

Suzuni "No I don't!"

She stops hitting Heleh and is now gripping her shirt while gritting her teeth. Heleh extends his arm and opens his hand. He then puts a hand on his chest and looks away from Suzuni.

Heleh "Ugh, so cute."

He looks at her with a smug face.

Suzuni "Why you!"

Suzuni starts running after Heleh but he easily escapes her. Suzuni, still being angry is getting even more annoyed by Heleh, who is just laughing at her. She stops and crosses her arms.

Suzuni "You're so mean!"

She makes a pout like face.

Heleh "Damn, you're really just like a child."

Suzuni "Fuck you!"

*Gasp* Heleh "Children don't use such vulgar language!"

Suzuni "You fucker!"

Suzuni is able to pin Heleh down and starts hitting him, like a little girl. Heleh is just blocking while laughing hysterically. Then Rya walks out and sees them. Suzuni gets embarrassed but Heleh is still laughing, he even started crying.

Rya "Nope, I saw nothing."

She turns around and starts walking back to her room.

Suzuni "Wait no, it's not what you think!"

She extends her arm in desperately while still on top of Heleh. Heleh then pushes her off and sits on the couch. Suzuni gets up and sits next to Heleh, she then rests her head on Heleh's shoulder.

Suzuni "Can we go out tomorrow, just the two of us?"

Heleh "Yeah, we can."

Suzuni "But first, you need to know your place."

Heleh "Wait!?"

Suzuni pins Heleh down and starts draining his mana.

Heleh "Ack! Fucking hell!"

Suzuni "You deserved it." She says as she crosses her arms while turning her back to Heleh.

Heleh then got the best black mail material.

Heleh "Fine, then we won't go out tomorrow."

Suzuni immediately grabbed Heleh with wide eyes and a sad expression.

Suzuni "Fine, I'm sorry!"

Heleh "Good."
