Winter and Tower

It is now December, school is out and it's snowing. Heleh wore a turtle neck with a black hoodie over it. And then a white trench coat over that. When he walked outside, a lump of snow fell onto his head. He brushed it off and fixed his hair, which was now short from the back, but got longer as it went up. His front hair stayed the same length, but he cut a bit off the sides. Heleh kinda misses his bun, Heleh then starts heading for the pub. When he got there, he sat down and ordered a glass of water, Heleh was never the kind to drink. Then, a man sat next to him with his arm over Heleh's neck. "Hey buddy, can I borrow some money?", he then pulled out a knife and put it to Heleh's throat.

"You are mistaken..." Heleh says, "What do you mean? You are part of the military right?!" the man continued. "No, currently I am working as a teacher. What your mistake is..." Heleh paused, "C'mon, spit it out! What is my mistake?!" the man was practically yelling at this point. Heleh elbowed the man and kicked him in the chin. "Your mistake was not using a sharper knife, fucker." Heleh then walks away after finishing his water.

As he walked through the streets, he saw children playing with friends. Couples on a date, and some were making out. Heleh then remembered William, the sight of him dying never left Heleh's mind. Heleh then found a bench and sat down. He crossed his legs and put his hands in his pockets as he looked up at the sky. The sky had never been so blue, the sun then caught Heleh's eyes and he jerked forward and rubbed his eyes. Seems like natural things are more powerful than Heleh. Kamesh then sat down next to him, "Are you crying?!" he said jokingly. "No...I looked at the sun, that's all." Heleh answers, "Fucking dumbass." Kamesh said.

"You know, a tower has appeared." Kamesh said, "Yeah, I know." Heleh responded. "So, are you going to attempt it?" Kamesh asked, "Definitely." Heleh answered. Kamesh then got up, "Well, that's all I needed to know. See ya!" He then walks away.

Towers are extremely rare, they only appear every decade. The tower has 50 floors, each floor gets progressively more difficult. If a tower is not completed within a year, the tower will instantly combust and a one year penalty will be put on (a tower won't appear on its regular date). Most floors have a boss, but some are waves of enemies that you have to kill. And on the 50th floor, is a humanoid-demon king/queen.

Heleh then gets up and goes back to Suzuni's house (which he is staying in). He knocks on the door, and a little boy opens the door. "What the hell?" Heleh said while looking down, "Oh, Heleh!" Suzuni says from inside the house. "Come in!" She says, the boy then moves away to let Heleh in. Heleh then closes the door behind him, he sees Suzuni sitting on the couch who was wearing a hoodie and shorts. And on the opposite side of her were a middle aged man with his wife. "C'mon, sit down." Suzuni said.

Heleh sits next to her and feels a bit nervous. "Heleh, these are my parents, and that's my little brother!" She says happily. "Oh, hello." Heleh says while bowing, "Well, you seem like a nice young man." Suzuni's dad says. "Nice to meet you!" He continues while holding out his hand. Heleh then shakes his hand but something burns on his hand, he looks down and his hand is engulfed in a red flame. Suzuni's dad was laughing hysterically, "Honey! Don't do that to people you've just met!" His wife said.

Heleh blows the flame lightly and it dissipates, "Woah, you must be pretty strong if you can do that!" Suzuni's dad said. "We're sorry about that." Suzuni's mom said, "No, it's fine." Heleh said. Suzuni got up and made some tea, she then put down the tea and got a cup for herself. Heleh takes a sip and immediately spits it out, "Hahaha!" Suzuni laughed while slapping her knee, her parents were also laughing a bit. "God damn turmeric powder." He said quietly, he pointed at Suzuni's thigh and a quick electric shock taped her. "Eek!" Suzuni squealed, "What was that for?!" She asked. "Are you serious?" Heleh said while getting up and making his own tea.

"Suzuni dear, tell me more about him, who is he?" Suzuni's mom said. "Well, he's my boyfriend. He's really nice, only if you're nice to him though, and he has helped me a lot! He also was the one who stopped the rebellion." Suzuni explained, "And what is his name?" Her dad asked. "His name is Heleh." Suzuni answered, "Well, I think I've heard of him in Delburge." Her dad says. "Probably, being the main contributor in the Elven war and all. Oh! He also trained our party and got us above Arc-wizard!" Suzuni said. Heleh then sat down, "I wouldn't say that I'm the main contributor, but I did a lot in the war." Heleh said.

Suzuni then grasped Heleh's left arm, Heleh then splashed his tea to the side revealing a man in an all black outfit. "Who the hell are you?" Heleh asked, "Sir, I am Mr and Mrs. Weltz's body guard!" The man said. "How wealthy do you have to be to have a body guard?!" Heleh asked, "Pretty wealthy actually." Suzuni's dad answered. "Damn...Well, I've gotta get going!" Heleh said while getting up, Suzuni then grabbed his sleeve, "Wait! Where are you going?!" She asked. "To the tower, don't worry, just wait like a week." He said, Suzuni let go and said "Ok." with a worried look.

As Heleh walked out the door, he could feel Suzuni's dad's glare. Heleh didn't worry though, he knew that Mr. Weltz was not the kind of man to make his daughter sad. Heleh went to Kamesh's house to ask him a few questions, "What?" Kamesh asked, "Where is the tower located?" Heleh said. "It's in the Feline Lands." Kamesh answered, "Ok, thanks!" Heleh said while walking away. Kamesh shut his door, "How is that man gonna beat it?" He said quietly.

Everyone stared at one man, that man was Heleh. No one in the crowd was brave enough to confront him, except for one girl. "Yo! Heleh!" Fermine said, "Oh, hey." Heleh answered. "Come to try out the tower?" Fermine asked, "Yeah." Heleh then looked up at the tower, and swallowed his saliva.
