Ignorance is a bliss

Being fated to an inevitable destiny that is bound to mediocrity is the worst thing that could happen to anybody.

There are certain things that Min-kay is not aware of, and it is very natural because he led a very enclosed life, he hardly opens up to anybody, he has less desire than anybody he knows, he is minimalistic and doesn't have the hunger of topping anybody, nor does he want to possess anything, the only thing he wished for was a specific skill/talent that he can utilize but that he doesn't aware of, he isn't aware of how he will react to a certain thing, he surely have an ideology but that cannot be evident to how he will stand for, this is the first time Min did something that he never faced earlier.

Min went to the apartment with a headache and went to deep sleep, he had a faded dream of black fish lying deep in water, after waking up he notices that he is having cramps in his whole body as someone roasted him alive, he moans for a while then ordered dan-dan noodles as he has no energy to go outside or make some food, after having a shower, he had the noodles and rested for a while, then he made his mind to not go to the office and informed manager, he was curious about Keya's situation but after having a conversation he thought that he better not get involved in it, he is having plenty of problems on his plate, if they found out there is an even more complicated person lurking around then he might lose the job altogether as he is the sole breadwinner and he doesn't want to create problem in terms for finance, he is using diversion, tiredness, etc. to stop thinking about his other possessed self which is creating havoc in the new city he just boarded for a week, he is freaked out by the spirit that can control his body with his conscience being paused for a time frame, if this goes for a long time the he will be an evil incarnate no matter how noble his cause might be, he is worried but at the same have an adrenaline flow that he didn't had for a long time, after completing his work at night he thought of having a walk by the lake he saw in his way but couldn't make time to go there, Min loves to be around water bodies, he wore an hoodie and went there to walk, there were few people by the lake and the lake was dead silent with no ripples or animal/insect noises so for him that was quite soothing, he remained there for an hour or so then as he was returning back, he saw there was a small café that cater only milk beverage from tea, coffee to flavored milk, he went there to have some coffee and Sinika called him ' Hey ! What are you doing here' he politely replied 'As you can see, having coffee here' she asked 'I mean here this late' he replied 'I was at the lake' he didn't bother to ask what she was doing here and completed his coffee and said 'I am off, have a good night' he knew involving with this person will definitely fall him in danger so less conversation is the best option, Sinika got cold shoulder and she noticed something is weird as she was quite the beauty around there and guys love to hang with her but at the same time her reputation as lawyer would also be quite intimidating, the next day Min went to the office and saw no one from his team came and it was kind of expected, both Bass and Abu would be facing axe from the company and would be punished by the law, Keya would be recovering from the incident so that was a good guess, before dinner manager asked to meet him at his cabin, as soon as enters the cabin he could feel the manager was flustered by something, he asked with a very low voice ' did you went to the party with the team' Min replied 'Yes, I did' he asked 'did you know what happened there?' Min with poker face 'No, did something happen? I took off early, Bass and Abu told me they will be partying all night' he asked 'You might be asked for questioning in the police station, Bass and Abu are charged with a drug offense and sexual harassment' Min asked 'when do I have to report' The manager took a formal statement from him for company-wide investigation, gave him guidelines, told the place and time when he has to go to Police station for his statements and told him 'they had priors back in his hometown' Min asked 'Did company didn't perform background verification' Manager replied 'Apparently those police station was bought off, Keya's father provided that suppressed information and furious about it' Min have to report to the police station next day and he received a phone call from the police inspector who verified his identity verification told him to report next day , Min confirmed the same as he was told the same thing by his manager and the police inspector told him 'Your friend's father knows about you , he is a senior intelligence officer in east zone so you have to report exactly how you reported to us, don't hide anything' Min got cold now, soon everyone will know that he is possessed by a spirit and he cannot control it and will be fired from the company. Min went back to his apartment with a flat face and Sinika saw him climbing the stair and said hello, Min went past her without noticing her, and Sinika again that he was weird. Min started planning how to get rid of this spirit and searched for possible exorcism, and gurus to help him and he got the contact of a very highly rated spiritual guru named 'Gen'.
