[Ellie's P.O.V.]
Walter took out another pile of documents from his bag and said, "Alright, there's only the two of us now. I need you to sign some documents."
I looked at Walter doubtfully. He continued to say, "Edith left everything she had to you and your son, Myron. Now, her hotel, bank account, inheritance, and everything else she had ever owned belong to you."
"Is this mentioned in Edith's will?" I had to confirm with Walter. He looked back at me with an expression that said, "Yes, that's right."
No wonder he was so cautious, following and investigating me so thoroughly. Edith had left everything to me. She must have really loved me so much. Tears had already started to welled up in my eyes. I turned my face away and looked out of the window so that I wouldn't feel too embarrassed.
