Silver-Colored

[Anton's P.O.V.]

With a trace of guilt, Hart said, "Why didn't you wait for me to finish? That child's eyes were silver."

I suddenly stepped on the brake and the car stopped in the middle of the road. Hart lost his balance and fell forward head first.

"Anton, I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack from your jolty driving." Hart rubbed his forehead and looked at me with a bitter face. "I don't want to ride in your car next time-"

"Repeat what you just said." I looked at him indifferently and didn't take his actions and words to heart because I knew it wouldn't be the last I heard of it.

"You're going to give me a heart attack-!"

"Not that one."

Hart was stunned. "All you care about is the child. Fine. His eyes were silver. How many people do you know of who have silver eyes?"
