[Anton's P.O.V.]
I was planning to spend more time with Ellie. But this guy just had to let her run away.
"I'm sorry alpha, Luna was too fast. By the time I was about to get out of the car, she was already in the taxi." Olly lowered his head in guilt.
"Forget it," said I with a sigh. After all, if Ellie really wanted to leave, Olly wouldn't be able to stop her. "Let's go back."
I was not going to pester Ellie to agree to my request to mark her. Now that I knew the reason she rejected me, I should start to change myself and give her a sense of security. Perhaps only then would I be able to rekindle her hope for me.
I woke up early today, but it was worth it. I sat in the back seat and closed my eyes to rest. I didn't know how much time had passed, but I felt the car stop, but Olly didn't move.
I frowned and opened my eyes ."Since we've already arrived, why didn't you tell me?"
