Panse didn't seem to mind my attitude as he continued to smile at me, but I could see a hint of shock flash in his eyes. "You haven't been marked by Anton? This matter can't be delayed, so why didn't you let Anton mark you?"
"That's none of your business."
Panse seemed very concerned about this matter as he would not let it go.
"Do you want to end up like Aidi?" Panse's tone suddenly rose.
"Shut up!" I reproached and glared at him. "You have no right to mention Aidi!"
Panse took a deep breath. "I know you're the closest person to her and that you hate me, but I had to do what I needed to do. I regret it now."
Regretted it? Who would believe him?
For decades, he didn't mark Aidi. Instead, he took away her child and restricted her. Even when she died, he still wanted to get his hands on Aidi's property. And yet, here he stood, being hostile to me.
Now, he was talking about regret?
