Panse had already let Aidi down, and I couldn't forgive him for that. However, Anton was innocent in this incident so neither could I just watch him get angry and depressed.
Panse shook his head. "He's hated me since he was young because of what happened to Aidi," said he, looking in the direction Anton left.
Since he was young? I didn't know. No wonder there had always been an invisible tension between him and Panse when I first saw them together at Anton's apartment.
Olly stood hesitantly at the office door so I said, "You should go look after Anton. He needs to vent his anger. Just don't let him hurt himself."
After Olly left, I sighed and silently went to pick up the broken pieces of the porcelain and put them in a pile. This was one of Aidi's favorite collections.
