In the end, they were father and son, and even though hatred stood between them, it couldn't change their blood relationship. The last time I saw Anton like this was during Panse's self-destruction, when everyone believed Panse had committed suicide. Back then, everyone genuinely thought Panse was dead.
Yet, Panse appeared in front of Anton once again, and he even considered ending everything by jumping off a cliff.
As Anton followed Panse's footsteps up, my heart tightened for a moment. Reflexively, I wanted to go up and grab him, but my hand passed through his body, utterly useless. Fortunately, he didn't do anything foolish. However, his state when he turned back was worrisome.
I watched him alternately laugh and cry for a while, then couldn't help but roar towards the sky at the end, seemingly releasing all the pent-up emotions within him. Strangely, in my current state, I could feel his emotional fluctuations.
