[Ellie's P.O.V]
As I tried to carefully examine the person in the vision, a sharp pain surged through, and I couldn't help but make a "hiss" sound.
Anton, in the process of bandaging, paused, and gently asked, "What's wrong? Did I hurt you?"
The vision disappeared. I opened my eyes, and as my gaze followed Anton's arm down, he was preparing to tie a knot. I shook my head, "No, I might have experienced an illusion."
However, I hadn't seen anything now, and it wasn't worth lingering on. Perhaps it was just a hallucination.
"You've just come out of confinement, and taking heart's blood so soon might be difficult for you. If only I could bear it for you," Anton tried to avoid touching my wound and tied a neat butterfly knot, sighing.
Hearing him say that, I involuntarily raised my hand and placed it on his chest, feeling the heartbeat through skin and clothes. It was precise and palpable.
