[Ellie's P.O.V]

"Brother dearest, you... you already knew?" Leah took a while to recover, disbelief in her eyes as she questioned. She then shifted her gaze towards us, filled with resentment. She had forgotten my earlier gentle advice, her raised arm trembling. "It's you, you're the ones who slandered me in front of my brother! Are you deliberately here to cause trouble?"

Innocently implicated, I couldn't help but chuckle and gave her a cold glance. "If you don't want to be disabled, you'd better retract that finger! I've warned you multiple times. Once Xavier's blood sample is handed over, do you know what consequences will arise? But you insisted on going your own way, creating this situation. Don't blame us!"

After all, we had no obligation to deal with this matter. Now, risking our lives to save an innocent person, only to be wrongly accused, was truly chilling.
