[Ellie's P.O.V]
I had a faint premonition in my heart that this would be a significant event that would change Xavier's destiny. So, I hoped he would take it seriously. After all, there were countless internal struggles within families for some prestigious position or another.
Xavier fell silent, and I knew he was taking it in, his brow furrowed in deep thought.
After a while, he spoke solemnly, "I understand, Lady Ellie. Thank you for the reminder. I will talk to my father about it, to make him aware in advance. At least before I return, before those people make their move."
I nodded, feeling relieved by his current demeanor. I patted his shoulder. "Don't worry. When those three elders set out, we'll choose a different route for you to get you home as quickly as possible. That way, you and Count Andrew can better prepare. If you need our help, just let us know."
