Riding his favorite black horse Gundam, Xanthus soon arrived at the spring hunting festival venue accompanied by those three knights from before. It was already close to sunset, so the dukes and royal ministers had given up on the hope of Xanthus's participation in such an important event of the kingdom. 

There were also other Alpha Princes from the neighboring territories attending the hunting festival. However, Merciful Pack was the strongest of them above all, not to mention Xanthus as the supreme true-blood Alpha who could easily take down those other Alphas with his incomparable power and strength. 

So it was quite evident that none of those Alpha Princes were happy to see Xanthus arrive there, as they were fumed with their jealousy.
