HER POV
I am fucking famished!
That's my first thought, before even properly waking up.

This song plus Stuti jumping on the bed gets me very annoyed very quickly. "What the actual fuck? Stuti can you not wake me up in a normal manner?" My sentence was semi-comprehensible. I don't know if she understood or not but frankly I don't give a shit right now.
"Nope!" She's way to excited in the early hours of the day. And the jumping still hasn't stopped. One of the worst ways to wake up in the morning at...5:00 am in the freaking morning!!
I go to grab her foot to trip her but being too lazy to move my upper body right now, I let my legs do the job. She effectively tumbles down and lands on her butt firmly. And, here comes her infamous angry face. It doesn't affect me at all. She looks like a cartoon character, whose ears are gonna fly off from all the steam that's created. I snort and chuckle at the same time, thinking of that thought.
"I'm counting to five and then you're meeting the wrath of the cold water if you do not get the fuck up!" Ohh! She's angry. Too angry for this early in the morn.
"1,2,3-"
I simply sit up and face her with a poker face. "I'm up." This is the most enthusiastic I can be at this hour.
"Good. Now, get off the bed, take a shower, get dressed, and then we'll have breakfast. I'm hungry and I'm sure you are too. Don't take too much time or I'll leave you locked in the bathroom. Understood?" She sassed. I see bossy as always.
"Yea bro! Don't worry. I'll be out in a jiffy." I replied, went behind her, gave her a quick spank, and ran out of there for my life. Hehe. I like vexing her. It's funny, af.
And I was, as I said, out in a jiffy. All squeaky-clean. It feels nice after last night.
No don't go there. You're here for mere 15 days. Don't waste your time on thinking about bullshit. I'm here to have a fun time and make this trip worthwhile. I won't let anyone ruin it.
Nudge. Poke. Pinch.
I turn my head to the left, and guess who's standing there? Who else? I came here with only one other person. Stuti, duh!
"What?" I am piqued by her baffoonery. "Food and tea." That's basically her one and only warning before she goes ballistic on my ass. "Let's go." I'm freaking hungry too.
°°°°°
A glass of milk, pancakes, toast, coffee, tea, waffles, omlettes and two glasses of water later, I sat there on the chair patting my food baby. Oh! It's satisfying. And before you jump to conclusions, I didn't eat all of it. But I did eat most of it.
I'm not the way I am without a reason you know. But there's no solution for me. I love food way too much, hate exercising way too much, and am lazy a hundred percent of the time.
"So you wanna tell me why we rushed out of the club last night?" Stu asked.
Ah! The dreaded question. Sigh!
"I'll tell you but do not make fun of me. Do you promise?" I looked at her seriously. I'm not in a joking mood right now. Last night was awkward and creepy. There are no other words to describe it.
"I swear I won't laugh." Stu said.
I don't believe her. But I need to tell her. It'll be much better that way.
"Ok. So, after you finished your drink, you went to the dance floor right?" She nodded. "A minute after that, the bartender tapped my shoulder and placed a drink in front of me. I told him I don-"
"But you don't drink." She interrupted.
"Don't cut me off Stu, or else I won't tell you." I had my serious face on.
"Getting back to the point, I told him I don't drink. He then pointed towards the first floor and told me that some man in a suit, ordered it for me. I replied with the same thing again and also added that I'm not interested. The bartender's face had a look of fear and his eyes moved upwards, in the direction of the man, and I think he even gulped from the fear. He then proceeded and shook his head slightly. He must've communicated my message across to that man. And his face still had that look. Then I asked him who that man was. The bartender moved his eyes back to me, and yet again I saw that look. I thought it was weird and something was wrong with the situation. I didn't feel comfortable. So I scrambled towards you, without waiting for the bartender's response, and the rest you know. Also, before exiting the club, I looked back upto that man. I shouldn't have. He raised his glass of whiskey or whatever he was drinking, like he was making a toast to something. And his eyes were all glinted and shit. I do not want to see that man ever again. And I didn't even see his face properly." I breathed deeply after finishing.
Stuti had a solemn face on right now. Like she was really thinking hard about it.
And...then she cracked up. Unbelievable!
"This is awesome! That's something that will likely happen in a book. Wow! Why didn't you show me who that man was? You might've just missed your one in a million chance of meeting a mafia guy. You should've accepted the drink and asked for his company. The bartender seemed to know who he was. Why didn't you wait for his response? Oh my god, you missed your one shot sis!" She said animatedly.
"Seriously Stu? I told this to you so that you would understand me, and tell me that it's nothing serious and I shouldn't be overthinking this. But here you ar-" I get cut off.
"Ok! Ok! I'm sorry! Don't overthink this sis. It'll not happen again. Don't worry. Nothing will happen. Chill. Now let's go upstairs, watch some movies and then hit up the roads here once again. We can shop if you want. It'll help distract you. And I'll find some cute clothes for myself."
That sounds like a good plan. I smile, "yea let's do that."
°°°°°
We watched a lot of movies. From MCU to Legally Blonde to Bruce Almighty to The Mask. It was relaxing. And my mind was definitely not in overdrive mode after that.
After the marathon, will it be even considered as a movie marathon if there were different movie genres? Whatever. After the chain of movies, we got dressed to get on with the second half of our plan.
I wore an Avengers t-shirt paired up with black jeans and a pair of white shoes. Basic and tomboyish. That's how I like to dress. Oh and I put a Casio Edifice on my wrist. One of my favourite watches from my father's collection. Stuti, as always dressed on point. She had on a beautiful yellow sundress with a floral pattern on it, paired with black flats. She had a pair of sunglasses as her accessory today.
Everything looks so flattering on her. Oh, I wonder when I will have a figure like hers. It's the only thing I'm envious about with my friends. Their figures! And until I have a body like theirs, I'll keep dreaming about it.
"Oye, chal." Stu spoke. (come on/let's go.)
"Hmm." Was my only answer.
°°°°°
"Stu........... I wanna go back to the hotel. You've been making me go to every store you like to buy clothes that you don't even need. And you are buying the food. This is your punishment for all the work you've made me do today."
She rolled her eyes at me and walked ahead.
Ughh! She infuriates me so much sometimes. And this is one of those times.
"Stuti!" I yelled with force. And the passers-by stopped to look at what happened. I gave a sheepish look and fast walked towards Stuti.
"I want food right fucking now!" I'm not backing from this. She has made me go shop with her the whole day. Literally. I cannot function anymore. It's like she wants me to die of starvation.
"Don't shout. I heard you the first time. Shut your fucking mouth and let's search for a restaurant you can eat at." She rolled her eyes at me a second time today.
This caused me to roll my eyes in response. "Fine. Move." I uttered.
About 15-20 minutes of walking later, we finally found a vegan restaurant. Ah! I can rest my feet now.
°°°°°
Dinner was delish. Yum! Now we were back in the hotel and checking and rechecking our suitcases to make sure we had everything with us.
We are leaving for LA tomorrow morning.
What? You thought we would be staying in Vegas for the full 15 days? Well nope. We are taking a small road trip from Vegas to LA and all the surrounding famous areas.
Although we were packed and ready to go, we had a little bit of an issue. Stuti, bought too many clothes and now she had no space to keep them in her suitcase. The solution was easy, but it was a little bit irritating. For the time being, until we reach LA, Stu's remainder of clothes will be packed in my suitcase and we will buy a new small suitcase for her tomorrow after reaching our destination.
°°°°°
I woke up peacefully today. Not like yesterday. Music blaring and a jumping Stuti on the bed. I got out of bed, went to the bathroom, performed the basic morning routine, got dressed, put on my men's cologne, and got out, all neat and clean.
After me, Stuti went in and took an hour and a half to get dressed. I take half an hour less than her.
Today, we are taking a road-trip from Las Vegas, Nevada to Los Angeles, California. It's a four and a half hour drive plus some extra time to reach the hotel, check in and stuff.
The drive was filled with eating junk food, songs blasting from the radio, Stu and I singing off key to those songs, making pitstops for toilet breaks and occasional chatting between us.
It was all in all a good experience, and the 4 other stupid friends of ours missed it all. We haven't been really able to call them properly, as the day and night are completely reversed. We just chat and keep each other updated with our fun and their boring daily chores. We also keep our parents updated on where are we going and that we are fine. Otherwise they will go ballistic and come here to find us.
We reach the hotel totally exhausted. We check in, settle down, order some room service and just unwind.
I cannot think of carrying out any chore right now. We have plenty of time to think about being a tourist here tomorrow onwards.
We eat, chat a little, and go to sleep.
