MEDDIE’S POV

I wake up groggily. Rubbing my eyes, I pull both my cheeks down to open my eyes wide. I turn from the bed and look at the hanging clock on the wall. 6:55 a.m. I’m screwed. I’m late. Hey Bhagwaan! Kya hoga mera…Aaj hi der se uthna tha mujhe. Saare rakshas baithe honge mujh par zulm karne ke liye! (Oh God! What will happen to me…I had to get up late today only. All the monsters must be waiting to punish me!)

I scramble from the bed. Quickly brush my teeth and wash my face, then I’m out of my room to give breakfast to the main monster.

I reach the kitchen, ready to be scolded by the maid. But to my horror, Fia is sitting in the small dining area joined with the kitchen. She glances at me smiling but I can’t afford to give her any answers right now or I’ll be even later than I already am.

‘Yes and then your head will roll.’

‘It’s not a joking matter you dumb shit. You are a part of me. I die. You die too. Now shut the fuckity fuck up!’
