Chapter 31

Evie took one good look at herself in the full-length mirror in her room.

She was ready to execute her plans tonight, she just hoped that it would go down well with her.

She was dressed in a black lace short gown, which merely covered her full and firm breasts, her thighs were also revealing and appalling, a man who sees her right now would get seduced.

Breathing out heavily, she walked out of her room but not without using her red hair to cover some part of her boobs.

She knew that Ezekiel's room was on the top floor but she did not know the exact room, there were too many rooms so she began to wonder why Ezekiel needed all the rooms.

She had to go through the stress of checking every damn room!

Finally, she found his room! It was the last room at the end of the long hallway, she heaved deeply before going for the door.

She turned the doorknob and opened the door which gave view to Ezekiel who was standing at the window side, backing her.

She gulped. He was half naked, his wet hair and wet body were evidence that he had just taken his bath. He had flames of fire tattoo all over his back.

"I told you not to…" he trailed off as he turned to view the woman standing before him.

Earlier,

Ezekiel had returned from his parents' house feeling all exhausted, weak and tired, his mother was hellbent on them achieving their goal.

He collapsed on the sofa in the living room, leaning his head on the headrest, he sighed loudly as his hands grazed through his curly black hair.

"Master! You are back, what should I prepare for you?" Alexa asked, she was about to say something when she looked at Ezekiel's face, he looked pale!.

Yes! Her master was like a living dead, but the expression he had on his face made him look lost and… dead.

Who could awaken him? And show him that there is more to life than being serious-minded.

Ezekiel stood up and walked past her towards the kitchen area, she followed him.

She watched him open the fridge and took a bottle which had a red substance in it, he then took a glass cup and poured a good amount of the reddish substance into the cup and was about to drink it when Alexa suddenly stopped him.

"Master! You can not drink it, you made a law that no one should drink unless we are in our world yet you are drinking it now, it would not be good for you master," Alexa's voice turned into a whisper when the electrifying ocean blue eyes of Kiel connected with hers, she suddenly went numb.

Ezekiel looked at the content in the glass cup and then Alexa before gulping down the content all at once.

His eyes changed colour immediately after he finished drinking, his body was activated with supernatural power and energy, and he suddenly felt like beating someone up.

He managed to control himself and walk out of the kitchen but not without warning Alexa, "No one should disturb my peace else I would use the person as a scapegoat," his tone was dangerous and he meant everything he said.

Ezekiel took off the jacket immediately after he entered his room and tossed it on the bed, undressed and went for the bathroom.

He turned on the shower, letting the cold water sprinkle from his head to toe, he needed this very much. He heaved as he reached out for the soap to bath.

He quickly left the bathroom after he finished bathing, he did not bother to dry his body with a towel, he just put on his shorts and faced the window.

The extremely large window gave a view of the beautiful sky, it was dark and the moon and stars shone to their fullest.

He stared deeply as if he was trying to understand nature, how did the moon and star exist? Why is there day and night? Questions filled his head but he could not provide an answer to any.

Suddenly he heard the door of his room open, he hissed in his head, he warned Alexa not to come but she was proving stubborn.

"I told you not to…" he trailed off after perceiving her scent.

Evelynn! Fuck, he forgot too soon that he had a wife who was his responsibility.

He turned his head around to see her and was completely thrown off balance.

What is the name of God is she putting on? And what was she looking for in his room?

Evie's eyes widened at the sight of his full bare chest in her view, his toned abs and his six packs were evident on his muscular body.

She was here to seduce him but she was getting seduced by him.

'Oh Evie, focus!' She reprimanded herself before speaking,

"I wanted us to talk", she made her way to his king-sized golden bed in the middle of his room, just as she was about to sit, Ezekiel's deep voice was heard,

"My bed is off limits Evelynn, and what are you doing in my room, remember that we have to respect each other's privacy," Ezekiel reminded her.

"Well, I am your wife so…" Ezekiel cut her off

"Remember that neither of us wants this marriage, we have to respect our boundaries," Ezekiel continued.

He was right, but… okay! She was going to agree that she somehow wanted this marriage to work out and be graceful, I mean, that is a wish for every young lady out there, they want to be happy with their spouse.

"Well…" Evie started as she approached him slowly yet steadily,

"You know I was thinking how about we get to know each other more" Evie suggested as she tucked her red hair behind her ear seductively, revealing her firm boobs the more.

Ezekiel stared at her in disbelief, he sighed as he climbed on the bed, used the blanket to cover himself and shut his eyes.

Those actions seemed to have shocked Evie but what got her truly embarrassed and shocked was when Ezekiel said,

"When you are done fooling yourself, you can leave and make sure to shut the door behind you as you leave,"

Evie stood glued to the floor, staring at this man, whose eyes were shut, she bit her lower lip in embarrassment, her face looked flushed and she just could not feel any emotion right now.

She opened her mouth to say something but shut it again, there was no point talking.

She turned to leave, she glanced back at him one more time before dashing out of his room.

The instant she reached her room, she removed the clothes off her body and tossed them to God knows where.

She was a fool to believe that this seduction of a thing would even work on Ezekiel! She just embarrassed and disgraced herself out there, she felt her blood boil and she shook her head in disbelief.

Ezekiel had insulted her and hurt her pride and she was going to pay him back. Watch out, Ezekiel! There is fire on the mountain!
