First day of sophmore year

Ava wasn't ready for a sophomore year but she knew that Maverick and Johnathan would just be across the hall with the Juniors. She was sad as well as excited. Sad about having to say goodbye to her older sister Jade. She recently discovered what and who Jade really was and that she will have to go live with her father instead of staying home and watching the family.

She was nervous about starting her first day at a new school. The old one just wasn't a right fit for her.

"Is that who I think it is?" Asked Tyler Collins.

"Who?" Asked Mark.

"My childhood crush....omg it is her!" Gasped Tyler.

Ava looked around confused and scared. Then two big hands covered her eyes and she gasped.

"Guess who." Laughed Maverick.

"Rick, aren't you supposed to be in a class as a good little boy." Teased Ava.

"Oh no, you didn't just say that to me." Gasped Maverick.

He chased her around tickling her until she begged him to stop.

Flashback to 10 years ago

"Tyler! Stop throwing snowballs at me. We are supposed to be on the same team." Laughed Ava.

"But what's the fun in that." Laughed Tyler.

"I'm going to marry you one day." Whispered Ava under her breath.

Tyler heard what she said and it made him blush.

Back to the present day

Tyler thought to himself 'Last year I was tortured and experimented on. Then to make it all worse I was turned into the living dead. How would she love me now? I survive on the brains of the dead to survive.'

He jumped when he realized Ava was standing right in front of him. She remembered him being a bully in middle school, but the way he was looking at her something changed inside him.

"Um...hi," whispered Tyler.

She smiled and said, "Hey handsome. Long time no see."

He felt bad that he wasn't able to blush anymore. She jumped when Tyler's watch started going off and she heard his stomach gurgle and he covered his face in an embarrassing attempt to vanish. Before she could stop him and tell him how much she missed him something caught her attention and he used that chance to make a run for it.

"Sam and Issac, go follow Tyler Collins. I don't know what's wrong with him, but he doesn't seem to be himself lately. He hasn't picked on anyone. He is quiet and it's not like him to be this way." Said Ava.

They nodded and did as they were told.

Sam and Issac took turns watching him, and during study hall that's when they saw him pull out half a brain from his lunch box and bite into it. That's when it hit them that he must be a zombie. So they cornered him outside the school and demanded to know what happened to him.

Tyler explained, " A year ago I was in the park just chilling by myself, and then I heard a noise behind me and then everything went black. I woke up tied to a table with a mad scientist above me holding a saw. He cut off all my fingers one by one until I blacked out from the loss of blood. When I came to my skin was white as snow, my fingers were stitched back on my hand, and then he stabbed me and I didn't bleed normal blood. My blood was the texture of tar and black. He force-fed me brains from a murdered child. He starved me until I was driven mad then he trapped me in a room with a group of tourists teens. I was so hungry I beat their brains in and ate it. It was like I was watching myself instead of actually doing it. I couldn't stop myself. I even tried killing myself but I couldn't die. I have no heartbeat but I'm still alive. I am in love with a human and I eat human brains to survive. I have no chance to be with her."
