Hunting for a Murderer part 3

Jade pov

I let Sam take it easy for the next week to make sure he is alright. I got a text from Ava telling me that she is in a safe place and not to worry about her. That made me feel better knowing my baby sister is safe or should I call her cousin since that is what she is. Well, who cares about titles. I got lost in my head for a bit until I hear a bang at the front door and there is Hades with a scared look on his face.

"Wait weren't you just with Ava?"

He shook his head looking scared out of his mind.

"What happened?"

"We were on our way to the Underworld when we were ambushed and someone hit me with a sleeping spell which knocked me out for a few hours and when I woke up she was gone. Her kids were also gone." cried Hades.

"Sam, your resting ends now they have your sister!"

I could hear Sam's wings beat angrily while he got dressed for war for some reason.

"Baby we aren't going to war you don't need all those weapons."

"Honey, I barely made it out of there alive last time. It was just sheer luck I was able to break the chains holding me down. That took most of my energy and power just to do that. So yes we need all the weapons we can find to save Ava and her children. I can take you to where they held me, but I am not sure they will be in the same spot since I know where it is." explained Sam.

Jade nodded and even had their daughters get weapons to help save their cousins.
