She creased up lightly but Don did not approve of the waiter's jolliness which seemed to have made an impression on her more than he had. He could not recall a moment when in a row,she laughed because of him. The feeling of jealousy gnawed inside of him.
" I would have a shrimp cocktail and that would be all from us" He waved him off as quickly as he could.
"profitez de votre charmant dîner perle de minuit" He flashed his perfect white teeth as he left to get Don's order.

Don burned as he clasped his hand tightly almost digging his nails into his palm.How dare he compliment her so openly when it was very obvious she was on a date. She noticed it but chose to ignore it. Silently, she was happy that he felt jealous even though it was nothing harmful. A smile glowed on her as she busied herself with her food.
"after here I wanna show you something "
"you mean this isn't the highlight of our night " Her eyes circled as she stuffed her mouth
"This is just to get your strength for the big stuffs" He leaned back quite pleased with himself. They ate their food quietly but he could not help steal quick glances of her and she did not fail to catch him each time. As soon as their eyes collided, they would avert their gaze , each of them feeling very uncomfortable but flushed.
He walked out of the restaurant to take in the chilly night air as she went to the powder room.

A text came in from Angie.
" don't mess it up. I believe in you😁"
Don sighed deeply and then hid his fingers in his pocket as usual.
She stood behind the pillar for a while ogling. She knew he was perfect for her. No one ever made her feel wanted before but he shows up out of nowhere and shows her he needs her. But... what if he leaves her just like her mom left her. Nothing good lasts forever does it? How can he just show up and try to walk into her life. It was too good to be true. Just have to get this night over with and it's bye bye Donnie.
" let's go then" She straightened her outfit which had raised higher up her thighs. His eyes trailed down and he stared at her legs. He gulped and averted his gaze.
He muttered a silent prayer before taking her hand as they walked.
The breeze blew softly constantly lifting her gown up. She struggled listlessly to bring it down but he just stared at her warmly.
"you should just let it fly. No one is really here"
They walked to a sea port where they entered a boat.
" where are you taking me to?" She was frightened as it was her first boat experience

The boat swayed gently on the water as they watched the bright starry sky. The stars twinkled, the waters catching their reflection as well as that of the full moon. Every thing seemed so sparkly and she was taken in by the view.The calm water acted as a mirror to the sky making her feel like she was swimming in the galaxy.
In complete awe of it,she was stunned when a few boats filled with flowers that had artificial lighting in them pitched in. The flowers glowed shades of different color ranging from white,pink,peach,green,orange,purple to blue making the river look like a party of lights.
Her hands flew to her mouth as she felt overwhelmed. Unable to find her tongue, her eyes darted back and forth between the beautiful scenery and Don who was very much poised.
"I hope you like it Bel"
She responded with a repeated nod of her head.
" we are almost there " He said pointing at the city port.
" you mean that wasn't what you wanted to show me" She spoke so fast making him erupt with a cheesy laugh. She balled up her fists which sealed his mouth instantly.
Getting off the boat, he led her to the market where a carnival was ongoing. It was very crowded with people dressed in colored raffia skirts dancing to afropop beats. The crowd cheered the dancers on as their bodies moved to the rhythms displaying new dance steps sending the crowd wild.
As they danced, a fireworks show was displayed and food was on sale.
" wanna grab a bite. Believe me when I say you will love street food" He pulled her to a stand where Suya was being roasted.
" Five thousand Naira worth of suya please"
The Suya man nodded as he fanned the stove for more heat.
" What on earth is suya?"
"you have got to be kidding me Bel. Suya is simply roasted meat rolled in pepper,laced with onions and cabbage" He explained
"sounds delightful " The tantalising aroma of the meat played in her nostrils while her taste buds anticipated every bite.
They went around the market trying out different street foods before they went off to a concert.
"I heard your a big fan of Burna boy so I got us VIP tickets to his show"
Her jaws dropped literally as he pulled her into the concert hall.
The mega artiste performed to his latest song FOR MY HAND, the crowd singing to his every beat. He pranced on stage right to where Bella was.
Her mind flew out of the window when he held his hand out to her, inviting her to the stage.
The crowd cheered for her. A mic was handed to her and together they sang to his song.

She sang that line with her eyes fixed on Don. His heart leaped and he was all smiles.
About two hours later, they left after she got a call from her dad reminding her that it was way past nine pm.
They entered their neighbourhood somewhat past eleven pm, both of them taking their time to walk.
" This night really is for us " He said with his head low to hide his burning cheeks.
" I had a blast. Thank you Donnie. Makes me feel bad that I didn't get you a gift and you went out of your way to spoil me tonight. I'll make up for that somehow "
They walked on in silence enjoying each other's presence. A shooting star passed by.
" make a wish Donnie. I'll let it go cause its your birthday " She gave a magical smile
" I don't need to make a wish.It already came true tonight "
He looked into her eyes as his words left her speechless.
" I love you Bel and no one in the world can change that. Even if you don't feel the same way I do I'll always be by your side no matter what comes"
The wind blew slightly sending shivers down her spine.
" I have to get home. Am super late Donnie. Thanks for tonight though "
She turned to make a quick getaway but he foiled her escape plan as he spun her around smacking his lips against hers.
His hand pulls my body close to his while the other plays behind her neck. He molds his lips against hers pulling her deeper, sucking her lower lip, encouraging her to open up.
She opens her mouth without much of a struggle allowing his wet tongue to pry into her mouth, sucking her tongue, depriving her of control.
His hands trace down slowly from her neck to the straps of her bra,tickling her as his delicate fingers went lower.
His groans travelled through her and she matches his passion.
She could feel the sogginess in her underwear as his hands move slowly through her inner thigh almost reaching for her undies.
She vehemently breaks the kiss causing him to stagger.
"what the fuck Don" She yelled although she was short of breath.

A tight slap lands on his cheek followed by a deep kiss on his lips. She moved her lips to his collarbone as she nibbled softly on it. He moaned sofly, his hands flying to her ass.
She wraps her hand around his neck, planting little kisses on his neck and his lips.
His hands squeezing her ass as his hands went under her gown.
She pulled away once more.
" you were trying to show me my limits. I totally get it Bel. Just a kiss is our rule right? "
She pecked his cheek and ran away like a little girl leaving him grinning from ear to ear.
She stood on the porch for a while where she heard his shout of triumph.
She smiled to herself but as soon as she held the door, her smile erased from her face.
