Hyacinth sat behind Canary on her bike and she took him to his father's shop. He was happily smiling the whole way.
Canary reached her father's shop. She stood the bike on the stand and entered with Hyacinth.
"Father, I have delivered those bouquets safely."
"Okay, thank you, sweetie." Said his father while arranging flowers in another room of the workshop. That room was a small extra nursery to meet emergency orders.
"Father, where is the first aid box?"
Her father abruptly came out of the room and asked her.
"Why?… Are you hurt, sweetie?"
"No, Father, It's not me. My friend got hurt."
Her father saw the boy and the boy greeted him.
"Hello, uncle! I am Hyacinth."
"Hello!" He replied Hyacinth and then faced Canary, "What a handsome friend you've got, my daughter!"
"You're flattering me, uncle." Said Hyacinth.
"It's the truth. By the way, the first aid box is kept over there." He replied and pointed towards the small cupboard in the shop. Then he continued his work.
Canary volunteered to help Hyacinth.
"Come, let me help you with your wounds." Said Canary.
"Okay", Hyacinth replied with a smile.
Canary tended to his wounds by applying disinfectant on him and would blow to his wound when he felt pain. Hyacinth stared at her lovingly the whole time. With her long and thick eyelashes, her dark eyes, her hair coming in front of her face, and her tucking it behind her ears, Hyacinth was so captivated by, both, her beauty and charm.
"It's done", Canary said and looked at him but he was lost in gazing at her, "Hyacinth?!", she said to bring him back to the present.
"Oh, yes?" Said Hyacinth. He looked at the bandage that Canary tied on him and replied, "Ah, thank you!"
"You're welcome. But, where were you lost so deep?" Canary cluelessly asked with a smile on her face.
"Nothing! I was just thinking that those flowers are so beautiful." He rambled and randomly pointed at the flowers behind Canary.
"Oh, these red tulips! These are my favorites. I can make a bouquet for you if you want. You can take it, then, with you."
"Sure, I'd love to."
On the other hand, as William bought some snacks for Hyacinth, he opened the door and sat to drive. As he turned to give the snacks to Hyacinth, he found him vanished.
"Young master, these are your…. Young master?" He abruptly moved out of the car and searched him nearby. He ran ahead and back but found him nowhere.
"Oh, God! He escaped again! William, you poor thing! I don't know what Master will do to me today." William picked his hands to pray, "Oh, My Merciful God! Please tell me where the young master is!"
The moment he finished praying, his phone rang. He picked it up and was surprised to hear the voice.
"William, I am sending you the location. Come pick me up or I'll have to say bye-bye to my allowance this month."
"Young Master?"
"Yes, who else!"
William pinched himself and was hurt so he believed it wasn't a dream.
"I'll be right there, young master!"
He ended the call and picked his hands up again, "O, My beloved God! This humble being thank you." Saying this, he sat in the car and departed.
He picked Hyacinth up from the street of the flower shop and was surprised to see the bouquet in his hands as he sat down in the car. William thought Hyacinth bought it for his grandfather. He was glad. The reason he didn't notice the bandage on Hyacinth's elbows and arms was because he had covered it with his sleeves.
Meanwhile, unaware of Williams's wishful thinking, Hyacinth gazed at the tulips that he held in his lap with a constant smile. He smelled them and then started looking out of the window happily.
They reached his grandfather's villa. Both of them got out of the car.
"William, I am going to take a stroll in the garden for a while before going in there."
"As you wish, young master."
Hyacinth started walking in the garden. He sat and leaned on the tree near the rose bushes. He closed his eyes and felt like his mother's spirit was caressing his hair. Big tears rolled up in his eyes and flowed down his cheeks from his wet eyelashes. He opened his eyes after some time, wiped his tears, and stood up to meet his grandfather.
On the other hand, meanwhile, Hyacinth was taking a stroll, William entered his Master's bedroom. He was watching TV while enjoying grapes, kept on the table, with one hand and his support stick vertically gripped by his other hand. He was sitting on the sofa.
"William? Why are you alone again? Don't tell me that brat escaped again just to avoid meeting me!"
"No, Master! Young Master has come this time with me. You should start your act now! He will be here any minute."
"Are you sure?" His Master asked astonishingly.
"Yes, Master! He even brought flowers for you! Maybe he has softened his heart towards you again."
As he heard the words from William's mouth, Hyacinth's grandfather was on cloud nine. They suddenly heard the knocking on the door. Hyacinth's grandfather abruptly turned off the TV, lied on the bed, and put the blanket on himself pretending to be sick.
"Come in." Said his grandfather.
Hyacinth opened the door and entered the room. He only glimpsed his grandfather then silently sat on the sofa cross-legged.
"How do you do?" He asked in a cold voice.
"Ah! I don't know how much time I have left. Come near child, I want to see your face clearly before I die." Said his grandfather to gain his empathy.
Hyacinth smirked, looked at the messy grapes on the table, and said coldly.
"Dying people don't enjoy sour grapes while watching TV."
His grandfather turned pale as he was caught off guard, but somehow handled the situation.
"Um…ahem…Ren, my child! It's been five years since 'that' incident. Can't you forgive your grandfather? I want to spend happy days with you before closing my eyes forever." He sincerely asked.
Hearing about 'that' incident, Ren (Hyacinth's public name) clenched his fists and tried to control his temper. Then, he walked fast out of the room.
As he came out of the room, his head started spinning.
"No! Not now! I have to get it together.", he said in his heart. He could see nothing clearly and walked limb with the support of walls till he reached the stairs. As he tried to step down the stairs, he misstepped and fell with pitch blank darkness in front of his eyes. He fainted with a stinging sound in his ears.
