Inn

Blue Aqua City is currently the third largest city in the Empire. The large city was protected by colossal walls against a vast array of thickets and woodlands which homed a rich panoply of huge dreaded beasts.

Right after Dante parked the vessel in a flying vessel parking lot, every one headed towards the nearest inn they could find. The city was currently bustling with people, evident by the rowdy crowds along the plaza.

The inn that was found was actually a two storey building with the lower floor being reserved as a restaurant for wandering adventurers whereas the upper floor served its purpose as they aimed to lodge in two separate rooms.

But before calling it a night, all decided to head downstairs mainly for the purpose of having dinner.

With the fact that today had been a strenuous day, Dante and the rest ate before heading upstairs after all tomorrow was gonna be a very busy day for all and so a much needed sleep was required. With all three men occupying one room while the other room was reserved for the Fallen Angel Cecilia, all embarked on a journey into the dream world.

*******

"Here's a list of all the things I'll need for the potions," Landon relayed as he brought forward a sheet of paper towards Dante.

"Huh? What!! Do you really need all this?" Dante inquired feeling befuddled by the creepy requirements needed for the potions.

A giant red centipede pair of appendages, two tentacle like vines of a hydra tree, Bead shaped eyes of a purple giant ant, the poison of a dust scorpion and several other ingredients..

Potions were made using alchemy mixed with mana. Most times herbs, rare monster parts and man eating plants essence and dungeon monster cores were needed in brewing potions just like the required giant spider crab core. The essence present in the core would be required in making the potions needed for the Emperor's family.

"Yeah, I need them all. Take these too," Landon then hands over two potion vials. The vials were in the shape of an apothecary jar with both glowing in distinct colors.

"Are these....?" Noticing he had seen both vials before, Dante inquired before Landon chimed in.

"Of course it is. The one on your right is a strength potion while the other is a level up potion. Be careful with how you use them and take this too," Landon brought out a small bag containing twenty-five strength and level up potions.

Dante opened up the bag and Immediately felt aghast by the sum of fifty potions. He drifted his gaze immediately towards Landon as he quipped.

"Don't tell me you did all these just last night?"

"Okay then I won't tell you," Landon replied bluntly before steadily resting his head on his bed.

"Thank you," Noticing the dark circles under Landon's eyes and his weakened expression, Dante knew Landon had been busy all night long with the potions which led to his sincere show of gratitude.

"No need for that D, just get the materials I'll need for further brewing later on. I need to be as quick as possible so I can bill His Majesty more for all the things I'm doing. Everything I do isn't for free you know," Landon replied with a hand across his face as he desperately tries to stay awake to make sure he doesn't forget anything important to say before Dante heads off.

Before his arrival into the human realm, Landon came along with only five strength and level up potions but upon witnessing Dante's level reductions. He acknowledged it would be wise to have more potions by his side, hence the reason for his sleepless night.

Though one level up potion could be effective for a duration of twelve hours due to Landon's current level unlike other Potioneer ranking silver and below, the highest duration of time their potion would remain active would be six hours.

In other words, the higher the ranking of Potioneers, the longer and more effective the potions brewed will be for the one who uses it.

"Axel will accompany you on your task. You can scrutinize his strength and weaknesses as you work together. Now leave me be, Landon needs his beauty sleep,"

With the words heard from Landon, Dante glanced towards the lizard kin spell caster before nodding in agreement to leave. Although Dante would love to have Cecilia accompany them on their quests to the woodlands in the outskirts of the city, the truth remains that he will have no choice but to keep a keen eye on not only himself but of also Axel and Cecilia.

With her levels still not revealed yet, Dante didn't want to risk adding someone else into the mission without being certain if she can handle herself on her own.

That's because with Axel being a bronze rank spell caster, Dante knows that he will have to keep an eye on him to truly gauge his strengths and doing that while training to raise his levels won't be easy as they battle high ranking monsters from the forest.

Before both Dante and Axel departed for the mission, both formed a party using their adventurer membership card by tapping on each other's cards. A notification message popped out from the card asking if Dante would like to form a party with Axel.

Of course he accepted Axel request to join his party and then both headed towards the outskirts of the city which is homed to various hair raising beasts and dreaded magical plants.

Although the city had a dungeon containing various monsters and beasts, still the adventurer guild provides tasks and quests listed on quests board that are suitable for various ranking members to keep them busy aside from going into the dungeon all day long.

Completion of quests such as killing of monsters allows the guild to provide income to its members aside from the dropped items gained from the dungeons which could either be used naturally or sold personally by the adventurers themselves.

Dante and Axel departed but still after three days, both had yet to return from their journey.
