There was something very wrong in Beatrix Sprin's eyes.
After the conversation that she had with the Vampire Lord, the man left her to her own devices.
When Rose came up with something to eat, she narrowed her eyes and nearly threw the tray–except for the fact that the Mage caught it with wind magic.
"If you plan on starving yourself, please," Rose smiled thinly. "Just let me know."
"Poison. I don't trust that you wouldn't have poisoned it." Beatrix said.
"Here, let me taste test it for you." Rose tried all of the food and started shaking her head. "I can't believe I was like this."
"Like what?" Beatrix frowned.
Rose looked at the young woman and took a deep breath.
"When I first encountered the Vampire Lord, I was very suspicious of what he wanted from me and Princess Eleanor. I thought he was the scum of the earth and an enemy needed to be disposed of."
Beatrix frowned. "... What changed your mind?"
