Time would eventually pass.
The days would go on, I did not automatically resolve the situation between me and Eleanor, nor was I able to fully comfort Rose from her concerns.
It was almost like the two of them made a decision to accept what had happened and sweep it under the rug. The two busied them with tasks, and I allowed it to happen.
Keira herself seemed a bit uncomfortable but willingly stayed in place at the manor.
"I… I can't help but wonder what has happened. I presumed that my father would be here by now and yet that is not the case." Keira murmured.
"Perhaps he is busy and presumes that you're capable of handling things by yourself." I said during the morning.
"That's impossible–he always treats me like some kind of incapable wolf cub." Keira crossed her arms and looked at me. "What if he's just planning a surprise, since he'll be meeting his old friend."
