Note: hello everyone, I lost this account and recently recovered it back, while trying to retrieve the account,I created the book with the same title one ordinary night. I will start uploading the books again; One ordinary night and the war of two lovers.
"as for your punishment, come to my room
tomorrow and clean it up" he said to her and her Jaw dropped, she turned around to face him and scoffed,
"why should I do that when they are thousands of maids around to help you?" she asked
"you are really stubborn and loves to talk back, should I teach you a lesson instead of having you clean my room, a more better punishment?"
"no, you don't have to worry, am okay with cleaning your room, I will come to your room tomorrow and clean it"
"that's what I thought and I took you to the river, you should at least do something in return, goodnight, sleep tight" he said and began to walk away from her with his hands behind his back.
She went inside her room and sat on the edge of the bed, her theory had failed, the only solution she had to the problem she is in now had failed, now she is stuck in this world, a world she had only heard about in stories told to her by her mother. She was to weak to cry, she had cried her heart out at the river. Now she has to try and survive in this world, she has to live, she must live. She laid on her back on the bamboo bed and few seconds later, she drifted into a peaceful sleep. The knock on her door woke her up and she slowly stood up and walked towards the door to open it and a maid stood at the entrance with a frown on her face. She had locked the door last night before going to bed, if not,she was sure the maid would have bang in. "How can I help you?" she asked
"prince Araromi said I should escort you to his room " the maid said. That stone-hearted and heartless man, she thought
"okay" she said and followed the maid out of the room.
Though she had been to where his room was located the night she got lost while trying to look for the garden, the route they were taking now, looks unfamiliar to her and it made her wonder how many corners and route were in the palace. They came to stand before a door and she rscongnised this place, it was the dead end she found herself that night. She turned around to look at the two doors behind them and beside Araromi's door, another door stood. The maid knocked on the door and left without waiting for the door to open and few seconds later, the door flew open without Araromi coming to light and she looked around her with confusion and began to walk into the room slowly, when she was fully in the room, a voice said to her, "shut my door" and she hastily turned around to see Araromi sitting on a wooden chair with his leg crossed and she hastily bowed her head,
"good morning prince Araromi"
"morning" he replied, "now shut my door" he commanded again and she hastily closed the door with a loud bang.
"as you can see, the room is very untidy" he said and she looked around, clothes were scattered on the bed and floor, shoes lied around on the bed, infact, the room was upside down and she threw him a questioning look,
"did you scatter the room intentionally?" she asked
"so what if I did?"
"that's too cheap of you, just too cheap" he said and she took few steps backward when he stood on his feet,
"so you feel I acted cheap" he said walking towards her and she continued to move backwards until her back hit the wall to see a mischievous smile appear on his face and he came to stand before her and she kept pushing her back against the wall, wishing an invisible door would open then she can run away, his presence was making her feel uncomfortable. He invaded her space and rested his hand on the wall above her head, trapping her between himself and the wall and she turned her head to the side not wanting to look him in the eyes, they were her weakness. Not that she likes him, but his eyes were too powerful to look into, they captivate her very soul.He brought his head closer to her and each time his head got closer to her, hear heart skipped a beat and he could hear her heart pounding hard in her chest and he brought his lips to place it on her ear and she shrieked in fear, oh God, what is he doing, her heart cried. She could feel his breath on her bare neck and she felt her leg go weak, her head felt heavy and she held onto the wall for support. "you have the habit of running your mouth Ewa" he whispered in her ear, " should I act more cheap by flooding the ground with water, then you will have more work to do, should I?" he asked and she shook her head
"now do your work without spilling a word"
"yes prince" she whispered and he smiled
"good girl" he said and pulled away from her and went back to seat on the wooden chair leaving her embarrassed and shocked, "what are you doing, start your work" he said
"oh yes" she said and began to arrange the clothes that were scattered on the bed
"am going out now, by the time I get back, I want my room clean and tidy" he said and waited for a reply and when he got none, he said, "where is my answer?"
"you said I shouldn't talk" she said to receive a glare from him and she hastily said, "yes prince" and he left, closing the door behind him.
