ARC: Training Begins (3)

The navy captain who approached me was much less guarded after hearing my explanation. After all, he wasn't going to turn away someone who wanted to join the Navy.

However, the other townspeople were surprised. They thought I was a pirate or something, because they had never seen me in town before. And often giants are rare and don't join the navy.

For example, the giants of Elbafs have all joined a giant pirate crew. Which just goes to show that giants like me don't like the navy and prefer to become pirates.

"Oh... in that case follow me, but don't go through the city where you might destroy houses without meaning to..." That's right, I had forgotten that I was huge and couldn't go through the city.

I'm more than ten times taller than a normal person in this world. So I think I'm about 60 feet tall.

"Okay, no problem, I'll gladly follow you." I gave the navy captain a smile to make him like me a little more. My smile was of course a forced smile.

I followed him and we arrived in front of a large building that wasn't that big for me. I'm halfway through this building.

It is blue with white stripes swirling around the blue structure.

This is the navy base in this city. It looks like most of the navy bases in One Piece and there is nothing original about it.

Of course, for me, it was a great honor to be able to actually see a navy base from One Piece. I would never have been able to see it if I hadn't died... There are not only bad sides to death...

"This is, the XQCD-10 navy base and I am Captain Max, I am the leader of this navy base. Our goal is to protect this city and stop the pirates around." Max was very proud in his voice. You could tell that he really enjoyed what he was doing. He loved protecting others.

Of course, that's just my first impression of him. Because I know that many marines are not like him and act worse than pirates.

We can take an example from Akainu, even though he is a marine, he has killed many more people than a pirate and doesn't really protect the people.

"Okay, and can you tell me which city we are in?" It's true that since I arrived on this island, I don't know the name of the city.

I only know that it's not a known island in the One Piece world.

"This town is called Sukan City. It's a small town in North Blue. Most people don't know it. We protect it, however, there are never any conflicts here and we often sail the sea." He gave me a lot more explanation than I could have hoped for. Good, the more explanation there is, the more I will be able to place myself in this world.

Now I know I am in North Blue!
