College was like a wake-up call for most people. Especially the likes of Christopher Owen, who spent the rest of his high school years messing around and pining for the boy he never had.

Dearies, I'm sorry about the previous chapter. I hope none of you opened it. I accidentally uploaded a chapter of my other book and yesterday's chapter cleared off. 


I cannot replace it with this chapter so instead this is coming as a new chapter. 


The pool party was in full swing, and the atmosphere was electric with laughter, music, and the sound of splashing water. The party had already escalated to a wild level. In one corner of the pool area, a group of teenagers were playing water volleyball, their competitive spirit evident in their spirited shouts and playful banter.


Near the poolside, another group was engrossed in a game of "Chicken Fight," where two people would team up, one sitting on the shoulders of the other, and they'd try to knock opponents off balance in the water. The cheers from the spectators fueled the participants' enthusiasm.


What the hell was happening?
