Closure.

Jennifer was trying to grasp the ground that was shifting beneath her feet, but her tries were failing. She wanted to hate Sierra, hate her with all the force she had in her, but she couldn't,

"what kind of person can sabotage their own mother's death? and even more so, how can that person love anybody else, did she even love me? did she even love herself?"

Jennifer was so lost, she ended up locking herself into her room for a week. Falene was scared that Jennifer might turn into Sierra and would end up wasting her life. Meanwhile Jennifer was fighting the constant urge to just end her life, but she knew if she did this, there will be no one to carry on her legacy and she will make a change. She will not become a living dead like her mom nor she'll take up her life like Sierra. And so she did make a change.

After a week, Jennifer continued with her life even though it took a little while for her to come into her senses, she continued with her school and pursued a career in directory.

Jennifer made the most out of what she was left with and lead a happy life. Along with a production company, she also promoted mental health awareness and owned an adoption centre. Whenever Jennifer felt down and felt like giving up, she always thought of her sister, her pride, Sierra and reminded herself that if Sierra could survive despite all of the challenges she faced, then I can too. It took a little long for her to face the truth that what Sierra did was because of her past circumstances and no-longer bearable emotions. But it was now all breezy and calm.

Jennifer's most awaited, wedding day arrived.

But unlike most of the brides, she wasn't as happy, Jennifer couldn't stop thinking about how her sister could've been the most beautiful bridesmaid of hers, and how happy she would've been seeing Jenny in the white dress. She even saw the resemblance of Sierra on her face, she got this comment alot but she didn't notice it until that very moment and now she was hesitating to check herself in the mirror.

It wasn't as bright as she thought it would be, other brides are screaming and laughing in excitement, but she wasn't feeling it at all. Jennifer was once again spiralling into her past, until when aunt Falene entered her room, she was one of her bridesmaids that day, because she didn't wanted Jennifer to feel alone on this very happy day. She walked her down the aisle and the ceremony started. After the rituals were completed, they started playing the songs, Jennifer didn't chose her playlist as she wasn't heavy on the music, it was Marc who chose every song. Everyone was done with couple dances and now people were just jamming on the dance floor, most of them were drunk and gone. So Jennifer sat down with her cousin and watched everyone, after a little while, a song came on, a song that Sierra used to listen before dozing off every night, it was a sudden realization and a sudden hit of nostalgia that made every single memory come back to her. Sierra waking her up every morning, dressing her up, walking her to school, then them sitting at lunch and talking about their day, her dry humor that Jennifer never understood, her locking Jennifer into the room so she would be safe from her mother's tantrums, it all came back she was lost in the memories, it was all burning in her mind and she couldn't stop imagining Sierra just smiling at her from the distance and waving with a motherly smile, oh god, that heart wrenching motherly smile.
