Carashall hills

They rode the slope and up the Carashall hills. The air became thinner as they went. Osmond saw a hare looking at them with its round red eyes and its whiskers moving. He tried moving Blaze to the hare, but it ran away. A baby python fell from a branch and in front of Dante, startling him. Riley pulled on the reins and calmed the horse. The python slithered away scared. Dry leaves and broken branches got crushed below their hoofs as they walked.

Riley heard grunts of boars coming from above and stopped his horse. He signalled Osmond to stop and he did. Riley got off Dante and crouched. Osmond saw that and got off Blaze and did the same.

They walked the slope slowly, trying not to make any noise. Osmond saw ants crawling and worms wriggling in the wet ground. They went through bushes and Osmond felt thorns strike him.

They crossed the bushes and came across an opening. They saw boars grazing, grunting and hammering their heads. Blood trickled down from their brown furry skin.
