"How long will it last" asked Kaif with a mouth full of celery as the family's breakfast was coming to an end.
Mr Arizona has just announced that their company ( Meyelin Foods )was going to be voluntarily involved in a major refugee Medical outreach.
"Well it's starting on Saturday and will run through until Monday"Mr Arizona said wiping off his mouth with some tissue having completed his breakfast.
This was not the first of this kind of outreaches that The Arizona's will voluntarily participate in, and they were fairly used to it, but The three younger children received it with mixed feelings.
Kelvin had no choice as he was even the convener of the outreach.
Kelly was supposed to have a date with her boyfriend, Matt on Saturday and she was planning to go visit his parents on Sunday.
Kaif herself has already arranged a sleepover with Naomi her friend and was planning to stay over at Naomi's to write her weekly publications..
While Kevin…well Kevin Had plans to go for soccer practice with his friends..
But they had no choice!!! They all had to be there.
In these outreaches they usually ensured continuous and adequate supply of food of all kinds; Food, Snacks, drinks, sweets and water.
"Well we must not all participate, Yes? I mean the older ones can go ahead, but I'm still too Small, what will be the need of me being there Daddy?Kevin said with a mischievous Smile.
"Well, don't even try that one, there's no escaping this one for you little man"Kaif said with a wicked grin to her ever mischievous Little Brother.
"There will be something for you to do Kevin,you just have to come along and your little hands will be kept busy"Mrs Arizona said with a tired smile while Standing to leave the dining.
SATURDAY: 8am.
The d.day of the outreach was finally here.
Kelly drove her younger ones, kaif and Kevin to the refugee camp where the outreach was to be carried out and to the arena their company was given to temporarily occupy.
The tasks of their company involved distributing food to all the medical personnels in the outreach then to all the non-medical personnels including other volunteering companies and their workers and finally to the refugees.
A total of 5 hospitals was involved in the outreach along with 3 pharmaceutical companies.
The outreach was done in one of the largest refugee centers in the country.
Putting on an apron and giving a smile to her little siblings Kelly went into the kitchen to help with the food preparation while Kaif and Kevin went on to share food for the morning breakfast Along with other workers and volunteering individuals.
"Hmphhhh" Kaif heard her little brother giving up a sigh behind her.
She turned back and gave a small smile to her tired little brother and stopped walking in order for him to catch up with her pace.
"Oh boy…you look tired"Kaif said laughing and extending her hand to her brother who received it with gladness.
"I ammm tired" Kevin agreed with a nod.
"And we just Began" they both said and laughed out.
"Are you not any bit tired…I mean you're enjoying all of this"Kevin said with his eyes wide opened gazing at Kaif.
"Of course I should be tired…I'm human, but I guess we have no choice"Kaif said to Kevin
" What would you rather be doing"asked Kevin.
"Writing my weekly articles….. "Yelled Kaif with passion in her voice and laughing out at the end.
As they continued serving and came to the set of medical personnels that were checking vitals She saw someone she least expected to see there…
