Chapter 16

Merlin stormed his own house to find Lenny having a very heated argument with the security staff of Simon Bale. He didn't think he had anything to say in and around the conversation that was going on there, in fact he felt uncomfortable under his own roof and fumbled with his dress buttons.

"We are spreading out. The human security agencies have been informed and it won't be long before we find Simon, safe and well." One of the members of vampire security staff on the receiving end of Lenny's furiousity said.

"We are supposed to trust humans now? Cancel any help from them. Tell them we will contact them if required."

"You don't mean that. They have helped us several times and it won't be the first time we ask them for help." He said, further testing Lenny's limits. Lenny literally growled with frustration. Merlin has never seen him also angry all the time he worked at their house and hung out with their dad and attended family functions.
