After giving a brief and quick description of exactly who they were and what had happened, to Ervin and Jenna, Heena turned to Merlin, Paula and others who were glaring at her with the face of exasperation and Heena knew why but she didn't care.
"Don't you all look at me like that. They need to know if they need to go with you without any trouble or confusion." She said as if this was the simplest thing ever when Ervin and Jenna were dumb struck, sitting on the hall couch with knees held close to their chest.
"Heena they are humans. They are not involved in all this, they need not have known." Merlin pulled onto his hairs in frustration as he paced the space before the couch. For the briefest moment, his eyes met Ervin's but none of them proceeded the moment any further. He had no idea where they both stood on a relationship scale. He wished it was somewhere between professional friendship and casual hookup with the bar inclined towards later.
