By seven of the same evening they all were sitting around the actual bonfire, eating dry snacks and drinking soup. It was getting cold every passing quarter of an hour and Paula had the diary found in the woods, stuck under her coat. She didn't want to lose it; she didn't want anyone else to discover it. Jenna knew, but she was quiet too. They decided to read it together later that night.
"We called it a day pretty early, didn't we?" Merlin said as he crunched the chips noiseky between his teeth.
"I am regretting it too. I was just so tired. We should go for a walk around." Said Ervin. Jenna and Paula shared a look without anyone noticing. They didn't care about hiding the diary, for Paula, it was more about keeping someone else's secret, a secret.
